The Gotto’s have a rich history of wrestling within their family and Jimmy certainly is no exception. He was a 2x state placewinner for Western Dubuque, finishing 7th and 3rd. Jimmy chose to attend Coe College and became a 2x All-American for the Kohawks, including a run to the finals as an unseeded wrestler his junior year. Jimmy now serves as both the Head Assistant and Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Coe College. But as successful as his wrestling career was, Jimmy battled quite a bit of adversity and I believe it’s turned him into the man and coach he is today.
