Michael is a graduate from West Delaware High School, where he placed 5th at 145 lbs. He went on to wrestle at Wartburg for Head Coach Jim Miller and became a 3x All-American. In 1995, Michael took a teaching position at Independence High School and he became head coach of the Independence Mustangs in 1999. Since then, he’s built a consistent winner and his program is well-respected across the state of Iowa. So please, sit back, relax and enjoy, Coach Michael Doyle!
