Mitch was a 4x state placewinner, placing 3rd twice for Cedar Rapids Kennedy and placing 1st and 3rd for Iowa City West. He won a Fargo national title as a senior in high school before joining the Iowa State Cyclones. Mitch had a successful college career, finishing as a Big 12 runner-up three times and making the round-of-12 twice at the NCAA’s. Mitch’s birthday was actually July 20th, so Happy Birthday to Mitch!
