On this episode we dive into one of my favorite topics that isn't always discussed in an open forum; Inner Child work.  I had the opportunity to sit down and chat with my college friend Joseph Thompson who shares his experience with inner child work.  Joseph graduated with a social work degree and currently works as juvenile probation officer in charge of supervising youths who have either been put on parole or probation for committing a crime.  He helps individuals find resources to navigate this world after being in the court system.  It was truly a gift for Joseph (aka Joe) to share his experience with inner child work and how he it has helped him become better man.  Take a listen as we have a vulnerable, honest, and transparent conversation about the inner child work. 

On this episode my college roommate Kaye Jones shared her experiences with anxiety and depression.  It was such a gift for her to be vulnerable, transparent, and honest about the everyday struggles of anxiety and depression.  Kaye shared how she navigates the feelings, the impact on others, and her coping techniques to help make life a little easier.  Take a listen as we dive into a conversation that is at the forefront of mental health these days; depression and anxiety.

In this episode with Talks with Tequila, I had the opportunity to have an honest, vulnerable, and transparent conversation with my friend/Google colleague Ashley Gardner about "Uncomfortable conversation with children".  Ashley is the brand and influencer behind @growingwiththegardners, which is a platform created to empower working mothers to enjoy a balanced life.  It was a pleasure to get hear her story on growing up in a single parent home, how she's managing parenthood as a married working mom, and how she's able to navigate those uncomfortable conversations with her children.
