Tangential Inspiration

Welcome to Episode 186.  This is our third Fast and Furious episode, where we give you a few more short stories instead of two shorts and a long.  We have received positive comments on these episodes, so we plan to do them every once in a while.  This one has Steve Carrell, the true story of Nacho Libre, anti-book banning, and some actresses that are making a difference.  There is lots of inspiration to be found, come have a listen.

February is Black History Month, and while some are trying to erase the historical contributions of women and minorities, we here at Tangential Inspiration are going to celebrate and honor them.  We have a lot of inspiration coming your way.  A story about how a backpacker started building schools in some of the poorest places on Earth, Black Inventors who made a tremendous impact, and a model who became a daring battlefield photographer.  Lots to cover, so let's dig in!

Three excellent stories to get you inspired to make the world a better place.  First, we give you an update on all the good things that actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley is doing, then a deep dive into three amazingly brave girls who fought as teens in the Dutch Resistance in World War II and some heroic acts by people in the California Wildfires.  There is a lot of inspiration to be had!

Another week, and another episode chock full of inspiration!  This episode does contain some adult subjects (not explicit), so it may not be the best episode to listen to if you have younger ears about.  The first story is about some unsung heroes who did amazing things but almost nobody knows about them.  Then we talk about the brave and bold Sister Rosemary Nyirumbe, who has saved thousands of young women from a life as slaves during a brutal conflict in Africa.  Finally, we talk about a young man who turned a shark attack into a mission.  Come bask in the inspiration.
