Tanya Kach was going through a rebellious stage when her parents got divorced and her dad moved her to Mckeesport, PA. Middle school is a terrible time to be a new student and she struggled to make friends.  She would often run away only to come home a few hours later and in February 1996, her dad and stepmom woke up to what they assumed was one of those days: Tanya was gone. Except this time, it would take over a decade for them to get answers and it was not at all what they expected.
