Topic: Republicans Permanently Save Social Security By Putting It to Death

Republicans unveiled what they're calling "a permanent save" to social security - what would more accurately be called their “final solution” to the “social security problem.” There is no problem with social security that raising the cap won't instantly solve. So, of course the Republican "save" will cut already-insufficient benefits while - you guessed it - giving a massive tax break to the rich .

Sort of like how like they’re going to “permanently save” the American health care system by making millions off their health insurance.

It just must be that Republicans aren't happy unless they’re making sure more Americans die needlessly without access to health care and a dignified old age… and, the added bonus or returning to the days, when the primary cause of death for the elderly was hypothermia and malnutrition.

It was Rep. Sam Johnson, who introduced this bill. He’s chairman of the Ways and Means Social Security subcommittee, and a "good Republican", Don't worry. He has great health care and a pension courtesy of you and me. No matter, won't rest until over 45% of Americans live their "golden years" in poverty - like it was before FDR signed the Social Security into law.

So lets get this straight, the same Republicans who derided President Obama For Saving 1.5 Million Auto Industry Jobs, cheer the Carrier factory for sending only 1200 jobs to Mexico rather than the full 2000. Never mind that Trump and Pence did everything but kiss the Carrier ass in Macys' window in order to get them to participate in this publicity stunt. I thought the gubmnt wasn't supposed to pick winners and losers? No matter. These are Republicans! Their selective outrage only kicks in when Democrats are in power.

Republican selective amnesia causes them to conveniently forget about the 750,000 jobs hemorrhaged monthly towards the end of the Bush error. An Error, which = will probably end up being remembered like a catastrophic success compared the hell that Twitler has in store for us.

Yep. Republicans who were so concerned about Obama's "celebrity" and called him an "Imperial President" every time he dared to find a way around their obstruction are now totally cool for an actual reality tv celebrity controlling America like a division of Trump incorporated.

The same people who were so outraged that Hillary's may have mishandled classified cheer the possibility of General David Petraeus as Secretary of state. Petraeus... who pled guilty to mishandling classified information.

We really should thank President Twitler for truly revealing that hypocrisy is the beating heart of the GOP.

Get ready for their Selective memory syndrome... selective outrage syndrome... and pathological amnesia concerning anything that doesn't suit their fascist agenda.

Now that their greedy, selfish, fingers are around the neck of power again, Republican psychosis is in full effect.

PolitiFact calculated that 53 percent of Trump's statements are entirely false and only 4 percent are entirely true. The rest of his statements are worse... a little bit of truth wrapped in a whole lotta lies that come faster than we can detract.

Democracy doesn't exist without a free press... in other words, We're in trouble here, folks. The corporate media helped create this monster by giving it billions in free advertising. Now it will work to convince us that a reality-tv bigoted bully who ran a campaign pleasing only to neo-nazis, Ayn Rand sycophants and suckers is normal. It's not.

media is eager to report the stock market is rising. Wonderful! Markets THRIVE in fascism... people? Not so much.

Which is why Trump wants to get the press in line. Because fascists like Trump think the press exists to flatter them and to repeat his propaganda... but just in case some of the truth accidentally penetrates the right wing bubble, Trump's instructed his dupes that if they happen to run across media coverage that counters their positions, they are to reject it is as “biased.” So much easier to control the people when you teach them to distrust all who try to inform them of their predicament.

Alexis de Tocqueville said, "Grant me thirty years of equal division of inheritances and a free press, and I will provide you with a republic."

Which makes our current predicament as the most economically unequal industrialized nation even more alarming.

When the founders warned the price of freedom was eternal vigilance, this is precisely the moment they were talking about – the fascist age of post-truth Trump.

Topic: I’ll worry if the booing ever stops.

Poor little Mikey Pence went to see the musical Hamilton on Broadway and was made uncomfortable because he was booed by the audience.

Then the poor miss thing was addressed by the multicultural cast who read a very respectful message expressing their fears about what what will happen to the targeted minority groups Pence and the Der Fuhrer Trump targeted on their low road to the White House.

Oh, the humanity! And by the way Trump responded with another twitter tantrum, one would think they were trying to take his health care away, rather than the other way around!

Well, at least this incident gave Trump's corporate media enablers another reason to run a poll. "Was it fair or unfair for the cast of Hamilton to make the Vice Fuhrer uncomfortable?"

Oh yes, let's not discuss the "merits" of normalizing a campaign of overt bigotry, misogyny, anti-semitism homophobia, ignorance and lies.

The gays and people of color were supposed to put on their little show for the massa and then quietly return to the shadows while fascists come for their civil liberties... their health care... their lives.

Far from making me uncomfortable, Their booing gives me hope.

Next time, they should dim the lights on broadway and refuse to perform at all.

Just as there are no "safe spaces" for us in fascism, there should be no “safe spaces” for fascists.

It is the DUTY of ever decent American to boo these fascist bastards to the ends of the earth.

So, thank you cast of Hamilton for showing all of us how it’s done.
