This week on Tay Bits, I’m diving into one of my all-time favorite fictional characters: Katniss Everdeen—the girl on fire. 🔥
My youngest son and I recently rewatched the entire Hunger Games series (twice in a month! 😅) and I also just finished the newest book. I couldn’t stop thinking about Katniss and how stubborn, strong, independent, and deeply guided by her heart she is. And honestly… same. 💥
There’s this one scene that’s been living rent-free in my head from Catching Fire, and in this episode, I talk about what it really means to trust the path we’re on—even when we can’t see the full picture. 👣✨
It’s wild how much this fictional world mirrors real life. Sometimes we feel like we’re alone, fighting against everything, not knowing there’s a plan in motion that’s actually working in our favor. And just like Katniss, we resist. We doubt. We try to control. 😔💭
But what if the universe (God, or our spirit guides, or whatever you believe in) has already placed the right people and the right challenges in our lives for a reason? 🧭 What if we’re being protected, redirected, and prepared—even when it doesn’t feel like it?
I share how this all connects to real life, why pain can be purposeful 💔➡️💡, and how learning to trust can be one of the hardest but most freeing things we ever do. 🌱💫
So if you’re feeling stuck, questioning your path, or going through a season where nothing makes sense... I hope this one resonates. 💖
