"Do not tolerate other people's suffering just because it's not happening to you."
This describes the president of the Norwegian football federation, Lise Klaveness, so well.
And today’s episode is a total masterclass of how to believe in yourself and our new team member is a literal gift to our squad.
She is one of Norway’s most successful football players, was the first female football commentator in her country, she then followed her heart and inner call for justice and became lawyer before turning back to football and becoming technical director of the Norwegian football association which she today is leading as its president!
We met during a conference I hosted and I can not put into words how grateful I am that she agreed to do this interview and make time for it - not sure if any other president would do that for us. You might know her for famously and fearlessly speaking out against the injustices around the Qatar world cup in 2022.
Our conversation today, however, was very personal and much more about who she is as a person that what she does as a president (even though we covered that as well of course).
Her head coach really touched me as well as her favorite football memory - even had a tear in my eye because I could relate so much.
My guys, I am a huge fan, even more impressed, I hope you will be too after listening.
