Teebs is here. KidPhoenix is here, and this time, they've brought help in the form of some really amazing, talented, scholarly guests.
This week, Professor Mary Beth Ray, Ph.D (Plymouth State University) and Professor Carrie Teresa, Ph.D (Niagara University) join our hosts to discuss their project: The Adolescentia Project. The project is their baby. Their brain child. The Adolescentia Project was created as a way to share and celebrate the ways in which music has given people the courage to become who they became to be. It is -- as they describe -- "A love letter to their -- and your -- 14-year-old selves in navigating stress, uncertainty, and excitement of adolescence.
There is an amazing discussion of how the project came to be, plans for the future, and Teebs and KidPhoenix enter their submissions to the project. They also ponder whether or not this concept can be applied to other media such as television, movies, and comics.
Enjoy this amazing discussion ... before we go back to comics and fart jokes.
