  • Podcast: Why Your Cloud-Based Communication Solution is costing you more than you think, And How to Prevent This Problem in the first place.
“Providers focus on features, but fail to address the biggest issue,” says Richard Kasslack, who is the Vice President of Sales, North America for NVT Phybridge. Eventually the network is loaded with features that are actually applications competing for bandwidth. This leads to what Kasslack describes as a disconnect: effectively connecting the Cloud solution back to your LAN - and then to each of your devices. Kasslack argues that SD-WAN was developed in an attempt to improve connections between device and application, but that it still leaves a gap, specifically the connection from the De-mark to the Desktop. Kasslack says, “PoLRE can transform existing voice network into separate and secure IP platform for your Cloud-based communication solution”, which he says can avoid layering onto data network and competition for bandwidth.

  • Podcast: Service providers take care or watch out
It’s one thing to grow an “as a service” business. It’s another matter to retain and build on the customer base a rising company obtains. In this podcast Michael Sterl, a co-founder of Cloud Optik discusses the next challenge for carrier service companies. Customer churn, the high cost of new customer acquisition, and the challenges of good on-boarding are now the new issues facing the cloud community. Sterl walks us through the problems companies face if they lack what he calls a customer success strategy. Using technology to nurture customers, deliver better service, match their needs and become what Sterl calls a trusted advisor. Sterl discusses layered CRM usage, analytics and other resources.  Avoiding offering duplicate services and ultimately a race to the bottom, Sterl instead calls on cloud leadership to deliver on the promise of powerful technologies they are deploying.

  • Podcast: A closer look at BluIP’s solution for Microsoft Teams
At our inception, we started out as a white-label service provider,” says Medy Shahoveissi of BluIP. In this podcast we learn about BluIP’s unique services and offerings. According to Shahoveissi, BluIp’s Microsoft offering is unique and fills the gaps left in PBX feature-set by Microsoft’s phone system. BluIP overlays legacy features such as faxing, extension-dialing, analog integration, and offers advanced applications such as IVR and Contact Center and even provides paced migration from legacy platforms to cloud UC services with no interruptions. The service is usage-based including predictable monthly recurring fees. Shahoveissi lays out the case for the enterprise and the opportunities available to the channel.
