But, I’m also talking through how my feelings about Black woman’s worth (or lack thereof) are shaped in part to community reactions to Breonna Taylor’s murder in comparison to Ahmad Arbury’s. Once again, I discuss why we must be thinking about SYSTEMS right now and how we must establish our own.

The Surgeon General tried to blame Black folks for the way we are disproportionately being affected by COVID-19. I’m glad, folks are setting him straight! However, rather than bashing him, I share my thoughts about how white supremacy is really the culprit in all of this.

I also share my concerns as a professional educator surrounding how some of our students are especially vulnerable as a result of school buildings closing. The digital divide has BEEN real, ya’ll!

The only fix for some of this stuff? More cultural connectors stepping up to the plate.
