Tempus Multae

Bart tries one more time to see if he can summon a jackalope, only to summon the nature spirit again. The spirit is not amused. It seems his magic is on the fritz and he, along with everyone else, needs some rest. 

One hour later they get a call saying that they need to move now. The scientist was seen entering the lab. Roz refuses to cooperate with Multae as their friends have not been returned yet, so she hangs up only to tell the others that they really should go. 

While gathering their things, Kiersten texts them with an address for where to pick up the supplies. Also, Bart notices that he has a voicemail from Darren. He and Annabelle are alright, and they are planning to neutralize the anomaly. 

So, the hunters load up and head off to the lab to lay a trap and cleanse a beast.

Bart, Roz, and Hock meet with Kiersten and she explains the purpose of Multae as she understands it. Their friends were taken to meet with a higher up in the organization, then they will be returned safely. Multae wants to help them save the protector because they understand its importance. 

Kiersten is a local. Hock knows her parents. She works as a personal shopper. The person who read her in knew things no one should have been able to know. 

They go back to the cabin to rest and get some food in them while waiting to see what happens next.

Realizing the danger her friends could be in, Roz leaps into action, alerting everyone to the situation. She also reaches out to a net friend to see what they can find on this mysterious Multae.

Using a mix of technology and magic, they chase after the people who have their friends while Hock handles the driving. Once they get close to the location, he puts in a few calls to see what information he can find on this strange warehouse in the middle of nowhere.

All signs point to their friends being inside, so they blow the door down only to find a surprising discovery.

Thoroughly floored by Annabelle's revelation, the hunters move on to their next problem. Bart may have a solution for how to keep Darren safe from the suits. He just needs their help collecting the ingredients. 

Hock and Roz go off to collect some roses from a friend's house. There are, of course, some shenanigans that happen. In the end, though, they get more than they needed. 

Darren and Annabelle opt to go on a little hike for some local fauna while Bart sets up a ritual to summon a jackalope. A mistake in the ritual results in Bart getting temporarily trapped in a time bubble. Meanwhile, Darren and Annabelle get separated and then spotted by the men in suits.

It isn't until Roz gets a cryptic text from Annabelle that anyone realizes the two have been taken by the mysterious organization, Multae.

The time has come for a story to be told. Annabelle waits until everyone is present to share her tale of believing in something so strongly that it cost her everything. She is not of this world and she was banished to it for wanting to save it. 

This rocks the way the rest see the world, as well as the way they see her. It could also give them a new avenue to accomplish their mission. 

Now they need to deal with the men who are looking for Darren. Bart may have just the spell for that, though he needs some help preparing for it.

After splitting up with Hock, Darren picks up his dad and drops him off at the house he was watching for a friend. He narrowly avoids being caught by the men in suits thanks to a cute kitty he was helping. Instead of leaving his dad to potentially be caught by these men, Darren chooses to draw attention to himself before fleeing to a hiding place Hock told him would be safe. 

Bart and Roz are stationed in the mall parking lot when Hock calls to tell Roz to go and grab something from a specific storage unit. Bart finally informs Annabelle as to what is going on so she agrees to go pick up Darren. 

This leads to a dramatic reveal that rocks both Darren and Hock's world.

Our hunters are now well rested and very well aware of the potential danger they could all be in. Mysterious men in suits are after Darren, and there is no telling when they will uncover the identities of the rest of the group. 

Hock springs into action, directing everyone to one of his safe houses while Darren works on finding a place to hide his dad. Meanwhile, Bart and Roz gather some things and try to find a way to act normal so as to not draw any attention to themselves. 

And Annabelle remains mostly unaware of the situation because no one tells her anything.

Our hunters go their separate ways after escaping the lab, planning to meet up after everyone had a nice long rest. 

Not long after waking up, Annabelle texts Bart asking if he could help her with something. He agrees to meet her at a nearby park and helps her solve a problem he never expected to solve.

Meanwhile, Darren had decided to crash at Hock's place. Neither slept well and Darren woke up to the startling news that men in suits were looking for him around town. This could certainly complicate things.

Our hunters continue their delve into the underground maintenance tunnels under the lab. Their goal? To find a way to get in and find the mysterious object 51. 

After blowing through the door they eventually find themselves in a more used part of the lab. Using his third eye, Bart is able to determine that the object is near where they are. There is also a moment where one of them may have been caught on camera while trying to check out the security.
