Since Joe Biden is now president and Brunch is no longer illegal, Phoebe is away this week having poached eggs, avocados and sourdough toast with frosty mimosas in honour of Queen Kamala. Meanwhile, in a desolate corner of south London, Hussein sits down with friend of the show Ryan Broderick, who writes the Garbage Day newsletter and hosts The Content Mines podcast, to dissect what #content might become now that Trump is no longer on the platform. Will we return to the 2014 era of Avengers memes, Cat gifs and Girlboss discourse? Or, will online content continue to decay as platforms consolidate and commodify it further? You can probably guess the view of the pod, but Ryan reminds us that there is some light at the end of the tunnel/Austrian basement.
We also talk about Macklemore's oddly self-aware freestyle, and why Sense8 actually makes The Matrix, and by extension, the concept of technology it presents, make more sense.

After a long Christmas and New Years seeing through the last chaotic posts of 2020, we have entered a new year of posting- and it hasn't disappointed. In this episode, we talk about what the "Beans Dad" discourse hitting the mainstream news tells us about the future of 'viral content' and the end of niche, subcultural posting formats. And then we talk about some special posts of the first week of January, including Azalea Banks digging up her dead cat and making it into soup, and the Scottish radio DJ who thinks that string, and by extension, curves, are too sexy and should be banned (I agree!). All of which is to say, 2021 is already shaping up to be an extraordinary year for posting.

Happy New Year! To round off this bizarre year of snitch tagging, simping and surveillance, we talk about (some of) the top discourses of 2020, with our friend (and person we sort of coerced onto the pod) online hero Brandy Jensen (@BrandyLJensen).

Thank you all for listening to our dumb pod show this year! It was born out of a weird lockdown fever dream, and it's amazing to see how much people can and have resonated with the pod, and the culture of posting by and large. Please do get in touch if you have any ideas of posts we should talk about, or if there's anything you've seen or read that's interesting enough to break our brains. Looking forward to posting more in 2021!
It's Christmas! Although this was recorded at a time when we thought you could hang out with your racist uncle, sadly you'll just have to Zoom him instead.
On this week's show, Hussein sits on the therapy couch and explains why he posts bad tweets. Or, more specifically, how a joke tweet about being a mischievous doctor ended up with him being reported to Interpol, and causing a minor crisis in one of London's busiest hospitals.
In this episode, we hang out with our good friend Rob from Podcasting is Praxis (@PraxisCast) to talk about the 2006 Lifetime Movie "CyberSeduction: His Secret Life", a movie about a guy who simps hard for a local e-girl and keeps watching porn with his bedroom door wide open. It's a pretty dated movie, but, as with many movies, it says a lot about society.

THIS EPISODE WAS RECORDED LAST MONTH so it is a little dated, but, like all discourse, always relevant.
DISCLAIMER: This was recorded before the 2020 election , we did not just memory hole the last two weeks.
In the second episode of our Trump series, we explore some of President Donald Trump's greatest Twitter auto and micro-fictions, with our friend Alex Ptak, who you might know from Pod Damn America and Ballin' Out Super.

We visit the secret Mausoleum of Trump Tweets to discuss, analyse and marvel at the greatest poster, not just of our time, but of all time. From his thoughts on schlongs to his deep seeded hatred of Smokey the Bear, we try to distill the Trump posting methodology and just how it penetrated all of our brains.

We also talk about a certain "coo" happening in Saudi Arabia, whether Fireman Sam is an op, and the weirdest movie of Robert Pattinson's career.

A sad day here at the 10kpostspod HQ, as we watch the US election, and see the demise of the world's best poster, thanks to the social justice left. We talk about the election results, but more importantly, we use a recent BBC Documentary, "Trump in Tweets", to try understand why @RealDonaldTrump isn't just a great poster, but a truly innovative poster, who has done more for literature than anyone who has ever done an MFA or been shortlisted for the Booker Prize.
