With soft whispering throughout but not continuous, I explain the steps I take to make a simple and healthy pear and rhubarb sauce with fresh ground cardamom and ginger.
The sounds include soft slicing of the pears, crunchier slicing of the rhubarb, the clicking sound of the peeler, and I also have a ceramic bowl that I do some light gentle tapping on and tracing around the edge.
It's not a recipe per se, but if you like cooking ASMR I think you'll enjoy this one.
Lots of crunchy, crinkly crackly sounds as I peel the dry outer layers off of my green onion harvest. Some whispering at the beginning, but none during the rest of the episode. I normally process garden produce much faster and more efficiently, but for this I've slowed way down, and focused on the meditative process of the work. I hope you enjoy!
The last 10 minutes the sounds get gradually softer and lighter which I find really helpful for getting to sleep, which is my favorite way to use ASMR podcasts.
The crunchy sounds of garden fresh snow peas, and some absurdly tiny orange bell peppers are consumed on this episode. No talking.
Lots of plucking, plopping, swishing sounds as I drop the small coriander seeds into a dish before drying them for future use. After the intro there's no talking, and the sounds stay relatively continuous to allow you to drift off to sleep peacefully.
