Advertising isn’t an expense, its an investment so I go a little in depth with how we at McAfee Heating and Air advertise. I also talk about our private labeling for all of our HVAC equipment. When you go into a home where we have done an install, you’ll see that all of the HVAC equipment has our name on it. I also go over if you should be working for companies like Angies list, and Home Advisor. Lastly I tell you why lowering your price will not help you grow your business.

One of the most fun things I’ve done is disrupt the HVAC industry in our market. Are you a disruptor or a disruptee in your market? You have to change some of the ways you do business, you can’t do the same old things and expect different results. I talk about how you can still generate business in the slow seasons. One of the biggest ways I set my HVAC company apart was: corporate office feel, started 8 to 8 at the same great rate, and same day installation or it was FREE! (We never had to give anything away)
