Just a few days after stating to media members that he's completely finished with boxing, former five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather (50-0) took to social media to announce that he's coming out of retirement in 2020.

Mayweather retired from the sport back in 2017, after stopping UFC superstar Conor McGregor in a mega-bout that generated over 4 million buys on pay-per-view.

If Andy Ruiz Jr hoped Anthony Joshua might be a broken man after he relieved him of his collection world heavyweight title belts in June, he has got another thing coming.
“We haven’t done anything differently mentally, I am a champion,” Joshua said. “I walked into the gym and three years later I was Olympic champion. I have had one loss but I am not about to become a p-ssy overnight and not be able to fight.

“I can fight, that is it. I don't need to reflect on that, I just need to win.”

❓

Heavyweight contender Tyson Fury will not be ringside at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday night when Deontay Wilder defends his WBC world title against Luis Ortiz in a rematch.

However, Fury's head trainer Ben Davison is making the trip and he will be ringside to watch Wilder in action.

Should Wilder win, there is already a rematch lined up against Fury on a date in February of next year.

The fourth and final installment of Wilder vs. Ortiz: PBC Fight Camp—which aired Sunday on Fox prime in conjunction with coverage of the Fox National Football League (NFL) Game of the Week—averaged a series-best 2.438 million viewers according to Nielsen Media Research. The segment—which chronicled the final stages of training camp for both participants ahead of their Nov. 23 rematch, which airs live on Fox Sports Pay-Per-View from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada—immediately followed Fox’s live NFL coverage in most markets, while preceding the event in the remaining coverage areas.

“Russian boxer Sergei Kovalev recorded a video in which he said that he did not believe in his victory over the Mexican Saul Alvarez. Kovalev said that in the conditions in which he was placed - weight category and preparation time, this victory was not possible. Approaching this fight, I was so exhausted by the three preparations for the battles that were earlier that for this fight I did not even have the strength to beat strong blows with my right hand.”
