Ok, so multiple sources are reporting that WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is ready to return to the ring and he'll do so in his home state. According to various news outlets, finishing touches are being put on a deal that will put the champion, Deontay Wilder, against Polish boxer Andrzej Wawrzyk on Feb. 25, 2017.

Wilder is headed back to the Legacy Arena at the BJCC. Going by the reports negotiations are ongoing to determine which network will carry the fight. It's expected to be on either Showtime or FOX.

The biggest marquee match-up in the heavyweight division in years, Anthony Joshua vs. Wladimir Klitschko has already been a financial hit.

 

The pre-sale tickets of a confirmed 51,000 sold out in under 30 minutes, in fact, many fight fans were unable to purchase their tickets due to StubHub server overload.  Fight fans have taken to social media expressing their displeasure of the inability to buy tickets because of Stubhub.uk’s site constantly crashing. 

 

Matchroom/K2 Promotions will release an additional 35,000 tickets for this blockbuster heavyweight showdown next month according to Eddie Hearn which takes place in Wembley Stadium that has a maximum capacity of 90,000

After months of negotiations, Gennady Golovkin vs. Daniel Jacobs is a done deal. The betting bookies didn't waste time picking a favorite, and by a wide margin, I might add. After months of negotiations and the threat of a purse bid looming Monday, fans thinking this fight would never happen but representatives for unified middleweight titleholder Gennady Golovkin and secondary titlist (and mandatory challenger) Daniel Jacobs said Saturday they have made a deal for the fight that will match the top two 160-pounders in the world. We had special guest and promoter of Gennady Golovkin on the show at 8pm.

Joe Smith, Jr. (23-1, 19 KOs) retained his WBC International Light Heavyweight Title with a technical knockout victory after sending Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins (55-8-2, 32 KOs) through the ropes in the eighth round. 

Bermane Stiverne  (25-2-1, 21 KO’s), of Las Vegas, Nevada, has elected not to face #1 ranked contender Alexander Povetkin, (30-1-0, 22 KO’s) after Povetkin tested positive for the banned substance Ostarine and the World Boxing Council withdrew their recognition of the fight.

The positive test reported by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association was revealed by WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman on Saturday morning local time.  

Cuban standout Sullivan Barrera (18-1, 13 KOs) pulled an upset over Vyacheslav "Lionheart Chingonskyy" Shabranskyy (17-1, 14 KOs) in a slugfest for the WBC USNBC Light Heavyweight title at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif. Plus News notes results and more to talk about.

The WBC has ordered a fight between Tim Bradley and Errol Spence.  This news was broken by Lance Pugmire during the annual WBC convention which has been mandating fights left and right. 

Tim Bradley has not fought since his unanimous decision defeat to Manny Pacquiao earlier this year while Errol Spence has been pushing to get Kell Brook in the ring with him, fulfilling his WBA mandatory defense.

Jr. Lightweight WBC and WBO World Champion Terence Crawford has been sentenced to 50 days in Jail due to an auto repair shop dispute, reported by the Omaha-World Herald.

 

According to the article by the Omaha-World Herald the specific incident regarding a financial dispute upon picking up Crawford’s vehicle is under despite, but the judge decided that he was “acting above the law” as well as “being dishonest with his account before her decision.

Well well well what do we have here.....Over at Tha Boxing Voice, we try to stay update you know, keep our ear to the street stay in the know. That being said yesterday Keith Thurman Jr., who is set to face Danny Garcia March 4th tweeted from his verified account this picture showing the two men in an exchange of blows in front of the Brooklyn Barclay Center in Brooklyn New York.

 

The Barclay Center has been home to many big fights since opening its doors to the #boxing community Keith Thurman himself has had the biggest career fight in the Barclay center to date. Danny Garcia holds a record for the most tickets sold for a #boxing event. Garcia has also hosted multiple fights of his own in the Barclay Center.  

 

The Question is..... will this battle actually take place at the Barclay Center and if Not where? Which state venue and location is the best to host this super fight between these two men?
