Thaboxingvoice’s panel Nestor Gibbs Aka "Nes" Enrique “The Casual Fan” and Boxing MD along with the return of Mario Mungia will discuss and debate, “Why is Canelo the most hated boxer?”

Canelo Alvarez (48-1-1, 34 KOs) who was crowned the new WBO Junior Middleweight World Champion is coming off his 5th title victory over Liam “Beefy” Smith via 9th round KO. He sold over 51,000 tickets at AT&T Stadium breaking Manny Pacquiao’s record. With the retirement of Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao seeming to be closer to retirement, Canelo is the new face of boxing and yet receives more hate than any other boxer. Why?

ThaBoxingVoice’s panel Nestor Gibbs AKA “NesGTO”, and “Boxing MD” talk Boxing. With just a week to go before the September 10th showdown between Gennady Golovkin and Kell Brook, Canelo Alvarez is stealing headlines.  Canelo has put out there that he would welcome UFC star Conor Mcgregor if he chooses to enter the boxing arena.  Is Alvarez taking the Mayweather approach by trying to overshadow his rival’s match by bringing media attention to himself?

Darwin Price stayed true to his jab against Javontae Starks, and in return it stayed true to him.

Working consistently behind his piston-like left hand Saturday night, Price was able to follow up with power shots as he earned a seventh-round TKO in a 142-pound main event at Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio.
