  • Steve Whitmire

Steve Whitmire is an American puppeteer, who has worked on The Muppets and Sesame Street. Beginning his involvement with the Muppets in 1978. Whitmire inherited the roles of Kermit the Frog and Ernie after Jim Henson's death in 1990; he performed the characters until 2016 and 2014, respectively. As part of the Muppet cast, he has appeared in multiple feature films and television series, performing a variety of characters on The Muppet Show, Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock and during such occupations has worked for The Jim Henson Company, Sesame Workshop and The Muppets Studio.

Whitmire was the second performer of two signature Muppets—Kermit the Frog and Ernie—after the death of their creator and original performer Jim Henson in 1990. Whitmire was personally asked by Brian Henson and Jane Henson to be Kermit's performer a few weeks after Jim Henson's death. Heather Henson arranged for a Kermit puppet to be sent to Whitmire's residence; however, Whitmire hid the puppet away for weeks before deciding on taking on the role. Following the death of Richard Hunt and the retirement of Jerry Nelson, Whitmire took over the roles of Beaker and Statler, respectively.

Muppet characters original to Whitmire include Rizzo The Rat. Lips (the trumpet player from Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem), Foo-Foo (Miss Piggy's dog), Wembley Fraggle and Sprocket the Dog on Fraggle Rock, and Bean Bunny, a character that originated in The Tale Of The Bunny Picnic (1986).

Whitmire voiced Link Hogthrob in the Muppet RaceMania and Muppets Party Cruise video games. He also performed Link for the 2011 film, The Muppets. This was the first speaking appearance of the character since the death of Jim Henson, the original performer of Link. He also performed him in Muppets Most Wanted. In 2008, Whitmire took over another of Jim Henson's roles, The Muppet Newsman.

  • Luis

We are three workers at Nagus Games. The programmer, Pablo; the writer, Josep, and me, the artist, Luis.

I entered this project thanks to the fact that I met Pablo to get another job, but we started talking and we saw that we both liked the world of technology and video games, and I decided to show him drawings that I had made, some related to those themes and others that had nothing to do with it. He liked them and I think he saw in them what he was looking for and after a few weeks he told me about this project and that he wanted to make a video game. Hearing this I didn’t need to think about it much, since that had always been my dream.

Since I was a child I have been an introverted and reserved person, while most children played sports or related to others, I liked to be at my own, drawing, reading, playing video games or collecting cards and other similar things. I loved to ley my imagination fly, inspired by all those worlds that I discovered when doing those activities.

Nowadays, it is no longer difficult for me to meet and talk with people, but I still enjoy video games, reading and drawing more.

Four years ago I go to know the world of manga and anime, which for those who do not know it are comics and Japanese-style animation, and since the it has become the first on the list of things that I enjoyed doing the most. It somehow haunted and captivated me from the first time I saw it, and it is something I am passionate about. This only helped to increase my interest into the world of video games and drawing, but adding the Japanese style, which does not start the designs directly on the computer, but first they are made by hand and then they move on to these. Forming and marking my current drawing style, the way and what I aspire to do and dedicate to in the future. I want to follow those steps and keep the drawing by hand as long as I can.

Finally, speaking of my work in the company, thanks to all this and that I have been doing since I was a child, it has helped me to develop my imagination and to make it easier for me to get into the worlds and characters of which I am asked. Not only giving what they ask of me, but even taking ideas to something unexpected and that exceeded the initial idea.

  • Skip Cummins

Skip knows a thing or two about perseverance. Overcoming a rough childhood, which included poverty and discovering his mother dead at a young age, Skip went on to graduate from Dartmouth.

Skip went on to take over and build back up a nearly bankrupt company into a financial juggernaut, discovering and achieving FDA approval for a breakthrough non-medicinal depression treatment, only to have it all stripped away by greedy big pharma and corrupt politicians.

Skip has taken all of his experiential knowledge and written an incredibly candid book that illustrates his own success and failures in a very candid and direct manner.

Each chapter is its own practical exercise for personal and professional application that can easily be applied to current events and people's current challenges.

Skip holds the distinction of receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Epilepsy Foundation while simultaneously being labeled as "the most combative CEO in America" by a Wall Street TV personality.
