Louise Langton, Social Tailor, has a looooong history in business. She then chose to go out on her own, helping other businesses sell better through their websites. She gives us top tips on how to do it better, why you need someone like her to do it for you (naturally!) and shouts about some of her most hated things she sees companies doing on their websites.
She also wants Sonya Lennon to come work with her.
John Donoghue is CEO of IFAC, a curious co-op owned financial advisory service. With thirty offices nationwide, employing 500 people, IFAC's roots are deep in rural Ireland. But, as the economy cedes farming for pharma IFAC is planning on more non-farming related expansion, including looking at moving into Northern Ireland.
John would love if he could attract Paschal Donohoe to work for him (he reckons he's got an ace contacts book...)

The State of Connecticut (CT) is the state above of New York city and below Boston. It's essentially the 'next parish over' from Ireland. Tony Sheridan is half way through building an exhibition centre cum co-working space in New London, CT, and the Meath man wants to populate it with Irish companies looking for a base from which to take on the US market. Better news for Irish businesses is that you can now fly directly into Hartford, CT from Dublin on the daily Aer Lingus service, that has taken off again after a three year (Covid) hiatus. Tony explains all of the advantages and how little it will cost.

E24 #Business Bites - the best bits of That Great Business Show E132 - Conor Skehan tells businesses why they should be involved in local democracy and he has a few bon mots for our public sector, and why the Irish system works quite well. Patrick O'Shaughnessy, who's great grandfather bought Killarney National Park for the Irish nation, has teamed up in Minnesota, USA with former Irish Distillers Master Distiller Brian Nation to bring us a new type of whiskey, part made in Ireland, shipped and blended in the USA and then shipped back, starting just this week, to Ireland. This pair and fun and highly informative as to what exactly they're trying to sell.
How Patrick managed to lure Brian to work with him in the States is a LinkedIn based story, writ large. And Patrick explains how his lack of familiarity with a 'stick shift' car introduced him to Dr. John Teeling.
Patrick wants to 'hire in a heartbeat' Brian's eight year old son, Briain.
Brian wants to 'hire in a heartbeat' his own father, Michael, who sadly died earlier this year.
Niall O'Connor, newly minted CEO of Dynamic Events, and Richard Phelan who recently exited as founder/owner of Dynamic Events, We had to find out why both did what they did, one to buy, one to sell? Richard is very interesting on the need for business owners to think ahead about eventually selling their businesses, but also not to leave it too late.
Niall O'Connor still wants to hire Jurgen Klopp
Richard Phelan wants to hire Johnny Sexton or Mack Hansen
