Sure most major retailers kicked off the holiday season at Labor Day but we at the "That's Outrageous" podcast are nothing if not traditionalists. And so we are officially getting into the holiday spirit with a review of the Netflix film, "Holidate" starring podcast favorite, Eric Roberts' daughter, Emma and the poor man's Hemsworth, Luke Bracey. Naturally we have differing opinions on this latest entrant into the rom-com genre but we both agree the biggest fantasy of all was the depiction of the 2020 American mall as a bustling center of commerce.
And lest we forget the news coming out this week - an Alexa type device for your feline friends, Mike Tyson comes clean about his urine and what's on everyone's Christmas list: a way to get to Tampa, FL faster than ever before!
So grab some egg nog, sit back and we hope you enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving, one and all!
This week we talk about inventive remote working locations, a man who found an inventive way to cook a chicken 🐔 and a whale who didn't have to be inventive at all to let some Californian kayakers know they were not where they belonged.
Plus, Anne's pick for a Thanksgiving movie, "Son-in-Law". Is this one a turkey or not? You decide.
And our celeb crushes - spoiler alert, Crissy did not pick Ethan Hawke.
Hope you enjoy and have a great holiday!

Crissy's "Cobra Kai" obsession finally comes to light this week! Little did she know back in '84 that bad apple Billy Zabka, sorry William Zabka, would so entrance her in 2020? Unfortunately Anne can still resist his charms but in discussing, "The Karate Kid", it seems another man has caught her eye. Not who you'd expect.
Plus, the wacky world of zoom calls gets another entry into the NSFW Hall of Fame with Jeffrey Toobin, Miley Cyrus has a close encounter and "prisoner on the run" takes on a whole new meaning for one Utah woman.
AND, the debut of a new segment, "Poppy's Words of Wisdom" - this is one you just have to hear to appreciate.
What a week! Enjoy!

It's Election week and like everyone else, Anne and Crissy are on the edge of their seats. So they do what any good American would - indulge in fast food and take in an action flick.
It's our first themed episode and what better way to kick it off than with Halloween?
You want ghost stories? We got 'em. You want to talk candy? We do that. You want the "Celebrity Ghost Story" of Patrick Muldoon? Of course we have that. Plus Anne's own ghost story (spoiler alert: Crissy is pretty convinced Anne had an actual burglar in her house instead of a "spirit") And finally, are you looking for a Halloween movie to watch? We'd have to be possessed to suggest the Sela Ward TV movie, "The Haunting of Sarah Hardy", and yet we did.
Maybe Anne was right about those spirits.
Happy Halloween all!

It's the moment Anne has waited at least two weeks for - the taste test of Brach's limited edition Thanksgiving Dinner candy corn. If this is any preview of Thanksgiving to come, put your digestive system on notice because this is not going down easy.
Plus raccoons invade the White House lawn, Chinese men lose a bet and the bystanders pay the price and a dangerous caterpillar in Virginia teaches Crissy a lesson she didn't see coming.
And of course, a Muldoon Moment. This week the ladies talk about the sci-fi classic (?), "Ice Spiders"!
We hope you enjoy!

Anne's real best friend joins the podcast to discuss the 1994 film, "Reality Bites". The ladies get into a heated discussion of Troy vs. Michael. By the end, will Anne change her mind about Crissy's prospects to become #1?
Plus, potty mouthed parrots, a man with a very unorthodox mask and the longest Dungeons and Dragons game ever.
You will want to spend some downtime this weekend listening to this!
Thanks for your support,
Crissy & Anne
The ladies welcome their second guest to the podcast, Young John, to discuss the Patrick Muldoon/Denise Richards/Casper van Dien classic cult film, "Starship Troopers". Anne finds it a commentary on the "military industrial complex" and Crissy just finds it complex.
Plus, there's a man cave underneath Grand Central, Anne plays a game of chicken with a NYC rat, a British supermarket chain is trying to sell leaves, and Guinness Book of World Records seem to be growing on trees.
We thank Young John for joining us and hope you enjoy!

Home and abroad, outrageous events abound! A girl in India makes a frequent snack of her hair, a Russian boy gets the shock of his life at soccer practice, and a Malaysian monkey is on the lam. Plus, find out what "delivery macho" means in Japan and what "drag box" means at a NYC drag cabaret. Suffice to say, Crissy will never forget it.
Anne has the latest on Patrick Muldoon and the ladies review, "Stalked by my Doctor". There's so much to discuss about the plot of this movie, never mind the viewer reviews calling for an Oscar for leading man, Eric Roberts. So sit back and enjoy!
They said it couldn't be done, and yet we've done it. We've made it to our 10th episode! And to celebrate, we have our very first guest.
Many thanks to cousin Jesse for picking the cult favorite film, "Rad". Anne and I had a great time talking with him about this homage to BMX races, 80s fashions and evil twins, not to mention US Olympian, Bart Conner's acting debut!
And of course, we talk about the weird news of the day. Crissy is particular incensed about chicken "nugs".
What better way to kick off the week? Enjoy!
