John Tyler became the first VicePOTUS to become POTUS when his boss died after just 31 days in The White House.  While the country and the Congress weren’t sure if he should even be in power, he took the reins and charged ahead at a full gallop.  Displaying his own strategic vision and a healthy bit of confidence, he turned a lot of folks off.  In fact, he was so head strong, he was kicked out of his own political party for vetoing one of their own bills!  John Tyler, the man known as "His Accidency", is on this episode of American POTUS!
