The Quarterback Position is one of the most exciting positions in all of Professional Sports. When things are really good, the QB is often praised and treated as a hero. When things are kinda bad, bad, or really bad, the QB’s are the first to have the proverbial “bus” driven over them. 2019 is an exciting season for the NFL, one being that it’s 100 years, and two, well, there are always so many questions heading into a new year.

Brandon Rodgers is a first time guest on the show, and brings this week’s topic to life. When 2019 is all said and done, who will be the Top 10 Quarterbacks? While it is most certainly too early to truly determine, the discussion is always a fun one. Listen in as Brandon and Matt go through each of the divisions, discuss and rank the divisions by strength of Quarterbacks, then, give their Top 10 Lists, in specific order!

The NFL has a long history. Very long. Few teams have truly crossed into the mainstream, before or since, quite like the 1985 Chicago Bears team. From 2 Coaches, and very conflicting personalities with Mike Ditka and Buddy Ryan, to its enigmatic players, it’s truly amazing that a team riddled with as many off-field distractions as it had, found the success that it did. Listen here for the recap of the 85 Bear Season and their claim to being one of the greatest NFL Teams of all-time, as well as the fall from grace that the team took several years later.

There are many, many aspects to running a franchise in the NFL than people might think. Even moreso from a GM Perspective. You have to cater to fans, the higher ups, the players, etc and it can be a real hassle. On this week’s 2nd episode, Matt is joined by Ed Jessie, one of the co-hosts of Sport Your Enthusiasm to discuss some hard thinking questions about some tough choices to be made as an NFL executive.

Just like our very first episode seemingly forever ago, Matt uses this episode to list the hierarchy of NFL Teams based on Regular Season Records since 2002. Which team is better than another team from a Record Standpoint? Which Division is the most competitive during the Regular Season. Better Playoff Division? All that, and then some on this “fun sized” episode of The 2-pt Conversation

There is an insane amount of money involved in Professional Sports today, and every wants a piece of the pie. Rightfully so as well! As pro sports, like Football, the NFL more specifically, continue to grow, between endorsements, television value and so much more, it’s important for everyone to earn their value.

The 1980’s were riddled with 2 major strikes, in 1982, as well as in 1987. While there have been many individual players who have held out, and refused to participate until they got their fair share, it’s rarely happened that an entire league has sat out. Learn all about these historic lockouts, how it effected the season, as Dalton joins Matt for this week’s second episode.

When the New Season of the NFL Officially began, and the floodgate of free agency began, there were some major, yet expected people to move around. Le’Veon Bell, Nick Foles, Antonio Brown, etc. Nobody, and I mean nobody, expected the Browns to make the biggest acquisition of the 2019 NFL Year. A massive trade to the NY Giants to acquire Odell Beckham Jr. While the move has been in place for a few weeks have gone by, it’s a major power move for a franchise that has made a complete 180 over the last 2 years.

Joining for his debut episode is a friend and big NY Giants Fans, Dave Hernandez, who discusses his Giants, as well as the bright future for the Cleveland Browns, 2019 outlook amongst the AFC North, as well as the rest of the NFL!
