Jacqueline sits down with author, professor, life coach, and spiritual guide, Dr. Darnise Martin. Dr. Darnise talks about coming to terms with life’s changes by first understanding that what seems like chaos in life, is actually a life altering wake-up call that she simply refers to as “God pressing the reset button.” After losing her mother when she was just a junior in college (her mother passed away just after turning 40), Dr. Darnise has been on a journey of healing and self-love, and she is now helping other women in mid-life who need that extra push to embrace their own inner warriors.

Jacqueline is joined by Chef Babette Davis -- the 71-year-old vegan chef and restaurateur who has been breaking the Internet with her videos and photo shoots. Davis is not impressed with outward appearance, however. She talks candidly about her journey, which includes her decision to become a vegan 30 years ago. When she isn’t meal prepping early in the morning in her restaurant, she is either working out with her fitness coach or sharing encouraging words on social media. In her eyes, the magical ingredient to a purpose filled life is love. Chef Babette will be one of the hosts of Peeled – the first competitive vegan cooking show, coming summer of 2022.

Richelle shares her personal story about freezing her eggs, going through an unsuccessful round of IVF, and the decision to adopt a child in her late forties. She talks candidly about her initial desire to have a family in the “traditional” sense, but when that didn’t seem to be in the cards, she chose to intentionally pursue her dream of becoming a mother on her own terms. She adopted her son Avery at 49, and she is now enjoying every precious moment of motherhood at age 50. Delayed does not mean denied.
