Jacqueline is joined by Communications specialist, Kimberly Wright. Kimberly discusses her professional and educational journey and why she decided to set her sights on something more. After working for a Fortune 500 company for many years, she took a pay cut to work an entry-level position at a school district. After hitting a ceiling, she whole-heartedly pursued an undergraduate degree at the age of 42 – undeterred, she completed her master’s degree 18 months later at the age of 46. Just four years later, she was promoted to Director of Communications at Muskogee County School District. She is proof that it is never too late to follow your dreams.

Jacqueline sits down with Co-Founder of Alloy Healthcare, Monica Molenaar, and the Chief Medical Officer of the company, Dr. Sharon Malone. Monica shares her personal story of getting her ovaries removed (because she had the BRCA 1 gene – also known as the Breast Cancer Gene) at age 39 and the struggles she endured trying to find some relief from her menopausal symptoms. Dr. Malone explains hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and breaks down some of the misconceptions that are commonly associated with it. Jacqueline sits down with restaurateur and motorcyclist Shantell Williams. Shantell opens up about her marriage at age 16, her divorce that led to her finding her own voice and passion, and what it felt like to ride across 48 states in 27 days on her Harley Davidson – with less than two years of riding experience (breaking a Guinness World Book record). She also talks about her unbelievable connection to Harley Davidson museum hall of famer (thanks to Shantell), Bessie Stringfield – the first African American woman to ride across the United States solo during the 1930s and 1940s, who also worked for the US Army as a civilian motorcycle dispatch during World War II. Shantell runs a successful restaurant: Shantell’s Just Until. . . (503 Sanford Ave) in downtown Sanford, Florida.
