Josh Rieck of the Union Grove Pickers joined the crew to talk about Different Folk Records “Different Strokes” concert on 3/24/18 and the “Covers For a Cause” Skatepark Association benefit on 3/31/18.

Then McNally’s own Nicki Ellerbroek popped in to talk whiskey, stopping customers from getting to fourth base in the snugs, and definitively answer the question, “How Irish Is She?”

Finally, Abby Bischoff steps into the snug to talk about April’s EmBe Tribute to Women event, sketchy encounters while shooting her abandoned South Dakota series, and what V’s chances are of receiving the 2019 EmBeliever award for empowering women.

Luckily, Alana enlists engineer Brian to sub in for The Noble One, and he does pretty much just as good a job as V.

First out of the gate, the gang gets superstitious with mentalist Zac “zstonish” Tenneboe. Zac gives us the low down on his one man show, Superstitions, at the Orpheum Theatre on Friday, October 13, before trading shots with V during Alana’s latest drinking game, “Does zstonish Do It (Do It… Do It…)?”

Before the break, manager Brent drops by to run down all of the delicious things happening at Taphouse 41.

Finally, Kellen Boice of the Sioux Falls Design Center joins us to talk about just a handful of the SEVENTEEN events happening during Sioux Falls Design Week, September 28-Oct 7, while Alana and V talk about seed bombs.

Jordan Knopf of Tuff Roots joins us straight out of the gate to talk about the band’s new album, Planting Seeds, and to politely indulge Alana’s reggae stoner stereotype game, “Cannabis or Can I Not.” (V doesn’t think it makes much sense, either.)

Then our man Aiden from Carnaval takes a break from bringing us plate after plate of delicious food and drinks to explain exactly what we’ve been eating and drinking.

After the break the Burlap Wolf King himself, Thomas Hentges, has just enough time to talk about his new album, Bitter Honey; treating your band like family; and plans for (3???) new albums before Alana reaches peak TMZ and launches into a segment crafted specifically for the newly-single King, “Who Let the Wolf Out?”

After a smooth interlude from the JAS Quintet, Downtown Sioux Falls Communications Director Brienne Maner jumps right into the hot seat for the Downtown Speed Round, but Alana’s only getting warmed up. Next comes her “anti-Dr. Phil” Valentine’s surprise game, “Is Brienne a True Belieber?” in which Brienne is quizzed about her relationship with her husband, 605 Show engineer Brian Bieber.
