No one was expecting the 2020s to start out like they did, after the Coronavirus Pandemic decided to pay us too long of a visit, that saw us all longing to throw it out of society by the end. During this time, every government around the world (apart from Sweden) decided they couldn’t trust the human race with anything, and as such, we were all grounded until further notice, and told we weren’t allowed to meet up with friends.
But during these times, we were in encouraged to meet up with friends via digital means, such as through gaming, through inline video chats, and by streaming the same content as each other into each other’s homes.
In this episode, I outline the ways that streaming services, online gaming platforms and video chat software helped disabled people to self isolate.
