I remembered to upload today. I uploaded the other two days last night, so they are there. Sorry for the screw-up! Today it's all about thanks. Even though we're not in November yet, the month of giving thanks, I wanted to reach out today, the end of this month, so we can kick off November ahead of things. Make sure to write to me with ideas for next year's content at Mark & Patti!.
It happens. It's bound to happen where two or more ADHD people will be in a room and strike up a conversation. Maybe you don't have ADHD, and you walk in on this conversation, and bam, it hits you like a ton of bricks. You feel closed in, claustrophobic, pinned against the wall. The thing is, all it is are some ADHD folks talking and airing their ideas. To you, though, it's a hot mess. What you need to know is it will all work out for the best.
We're back, and it's a Tuesday. Sorry for missing yesterday, but after a visit to the dentist and a bunch of novocaine being administered, I was all mumbles until late in the evening. Even then, I wasn't up to recording or anything else. But it's another day of creativity, and we're back with some ideas, thoughts, and ramblings I could use your help with. Please write to us at Mark & Patti and let us know what you'd like to see in the future. Have a great Tuesday.
Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do math, writing, music, art, or reading. They may also throw at you that you can't speak in front of a large group. Don't listen to them or to anyone that tells you that. You can do anything you want and do it well. You are creative. You have the ability to astound others all the time. That's right all the time, not just once in your lifetime, but each and every day. So go and do it right now!
I kept thinking about what to talk about today, and nothing was coming to mind until ADHD got creative and threw this one idea to me that I should talk about. So today, without further adieu, I give you Wednesday Ramblings!
I left that for you to answer. If you didn't see it above, I said, "There comes a time in everyone's life..." It's up to you to complete my thought. I don't have any idea where that would lead you or me, but it's something to start the creative process of cooking. Get to being creative.
That's it. Simple and to the point. Keep Practicing. I heard that for years from music teachers to teachers in school and even my shrink when it came to my visualizations exercises for my ADHD. Keep Practicing. I keep hearing it over and over. To this day, I still practice; I still hear the voices and listen to them. So Keep practicing. If you listen to this podcast and get nothing else from me talking, you can take this to the bank; Keep Practicing.
I'm ragging on coaching today, but it all ties into understanding your creative mind. No one needs to tell you how to be creative. No one has that right except for you. You're already creative, it's just a matter of figuring out how to use that creativity, and you don't need a coach telling you how to be creative. They can give you ideas and suggestions, but they can't tell you.,
Fall is in the air here in Fresno today. It's 68 degrees, and as a former east coaster, I love it. I had a lot to blab about today with the book on my mind and a new idea for a cooking club. Sorry if these things don't interest you, but I'm hoping the thought and creativity behind all of it will. Listen in and let me know your thoughts. Email us at Mark & Patti Clifford.
I'm thinking today about writing a book or maybe a very long article about living with ADHD for the past 60 years. I want to cover the failures, success, regrets, acceptance, and the best things that have happened since I was diagnosed with this gift. It'll probably be a very long book if I do write something.
