In 2012 Trinn Hatch was a private security contractor — someone trained to handle anything. And then an assault he could not predict irreparably damaged his health and ended his career in a few brutal moments. What he found on the other side of that devastation was not conventional medicine but a 2,500-year-old healing tradition called Sowa Rigpa — Tibetan medicine — and a partnership with Amchi Thubten Lekshe, one of the few remaining masters trained at the Men-Tsee-Khang institute in Tibet. Together they built Jampha Tibetan Pharmacy to bring ancient botanical formulations adapted for Western physiology to people who have not found answers in conventional approaches. What he shares about how Tibetan medicine understands the interconnection of body, mind, and spirit, how plant medicine activates the body's natural healing mechanisms rather than masking symptoms, and what this ancient tradition offers modern chronic illness and stress will give you the most historically grounded and personally proven natural healing conversation you have encountered. Healing began with intention 2,500 years ago. This episode brings that wisdom into your life today.
