Esther 5:1-14

Main idea: As Christians, we are the objects of God’s favor. 

We gain no meaningful favor on our own (5:9-15).

Esther III: Plotting
Esther 3:1-15

Main idea: When we seek only self, we are not seeking God. 

Righteous rebellion is necessary in opposition of corruption (3:1-6). 

Conceit leads to bad decisions (3:7-11). 

Bad council and egotism result in misrepresentation (3:12-15).
