The Aftermath

Buckle up, because it’s the return of the king of the monsters! It had everything you could wish for out of a Godzilla film. I’m talking fires, explosions, building destruction, and a good ol’ fashion kaiju fight. I’ve never seen Godzilla go on a victory rampage quite like this one before, it was amazing.

Just when you thought you’ve experienced all the wartime woes in the Gundam universe Thunderbolt shows up and proves you wrong. Join us as we see a Full-armor psychopath, and a man who has sacrificed all his limbs to war duke it out in space. As if that’s not enough, it’s a space graveyard essentially. I don’t think I have ever experienced this much weight in one beautifully made movie before.

This is a story about a man who was proven wrong, made some of the best friends in his life, and regained his honour, all in less than a year. There is no greater manly feeling than seeing brothers-in-arms going out in a blaze of glory.

Welcome to another Gundam episode, ripe with all the child labour and trauma we’ve all come to know and love. This time our main man Seabook is not detestable, and genuinely a great character to route for. As if the Zabi’s weren’t bad enough, now we have the Ronah’s and “This is a family matter.” is an actual quote the father makes before he leaves to kill his daughter. Wild.

This game was rigged from the start, but don’t worry, our boy Bean is too stubborn to die. I tell ya. There is nothing like getting shot in the head, getting up, and slapping the gun out of the person’s hand to really establish dominance in a situation.

Welcome to the third installment of our Hjönse Awards! With much discussion and deliberation we have finally come to a consensus, and we have chosen the live action Ghost In The Shell (2017). For those of you who may not know. This award is given to a film or series that we thought was going to be bad, or had little expectation for, but turned out to be great and surprised us in some way.

Oh buddy, you better buckle up for this one. Welcome to space, but now with different factions. Same people their just calling each other by different names, it's not confusing at all don't worry… Captain Bright is still raising/slapping kids though, some things never change. Oh! Char is doing some real Batman to Bruce Wayne nonsense and no one can tell, crazy. Just don't get me started with the dude from Jupiter, guy just seduces women to do everything for him, also crazy. The Zeta Gundam can harvest souls for power, I guess that's important, like some twisted Dragonborn robot filled with too many personalities.
