My inbox has been over flowing with special deals. "Only 5 hours left....only 4 hours and 45 minutes left......" You get the idea. I'm thinking that we're going over the top with these emails, and they're actually turning me off to companies that I like!

Have Black Friday and Cyber Monday turned you off to companies you like? Are you finding that even after unsubscribing from a company's email list you still get email from them? How much is too much in your mind?

For my subscribers here, on YouTube, on my blog, etc., I don't keep email lists, and I don't pester potential customers or current ones. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I'd rather engage with people directly through the podcast or YouTube and not pop up in their inbox on a daily basis.

That's the question I was asked yesterday. I always enjoy open ended questions like this. Well, not really. Questions always come to mind. "What does the app do? Do you want it on iOS and Android? Is it an interactive app? Is it a location based app......?"

I think you get the idea. But often times people want to jump right to price before specifying what it is they want. "What's the price of a car? What's the price of a new home?" Well, the answer to both of those questions is that it depends on many things. You can get a broken down car on the cheap. You can build a 20 x 20 building with no windows and doors on the cheap. But is that what you really wanted? Probably not.

I get a lot of email every day. But today??? Yeah, Black Friday sales are coming at me fast and furious! I'm staying away from the stores today. How about you?

Today's plan is simple. Continue enjoying the holiday weekend, finish watching "The Gauntlet" Msytery Science Theatre special on Netflix, and maybe do a little drone flying for the day.

My first experience with E-learning took place in the early 90's as I learned about how the Internet worked while it was still developing. And over the years I've used Lynda.com, Udemy, YouTube, and other platforms to learn about subjects I was interested in.

Today the options to learn from anywhere are growing at an amazing rate. For my Full Time RV followers, if you're interested in something there's most likely a class about it online! Learning doesn't have to stop just because you're in a "non-traditional" environment.

A late episode, but an episode all the same. And the news in today's podcast was very interesting to me.

First, the Daily Courier (local newspaper) had a story about widening Route 89 through the Granite Dells. Not long ago I posted a video on YouTube about the increase in traffic from north of town and Chino Valley. The second news item in today's podcast has to do with the new iPad Pros being "too easy to bend." After watching several videos over the weekend of people destroying $1000 + devices I have this to say.... Click bait for monetization on YouTube. Bending the new iPads takes an effort that I don't see happening in day to day use. The story feels like hype to me.

So Facebook execs should use iPhones? The very public argument between Apple and Facebook is giving me a few giggles. We'll talk about that in today's episode, and also about the fact that the latest iMovie update no longer allows for immediate upload to Facebook..... Are things heating up in the argument?

Also, at the start of today's episode I include a PSA for RVers. Stop washing your RV rugs with rubber backings in public washers and dryers. Seriously, have a little consideration for those around you!

This week I received an official looking email from a domain name registrar. Of course, it was a fake registrar and I recognized it. Sadly many people fall for these types of scams. Today we'll talk about recognizing these scam emails. They impact private website owners as well as business website owners. Be aware!

So yeah, the hot water heater sprung a leak last night. Ah the joys of full time RVing. Today's podcast we talk a little about last night's exciting leak. Home owners experience similar stuff all the time. It's no different in the Airstream, but still aggravating.

Ah winter in the Airstream. Ah winter in any RV. When temperatures drop below freezing what are you going to do? Make sure your city water intake isn't frozen, and also make sure the inside of your RV isn't frozen either!

Today's podcast is a chilly one. The heated water hose is doing great. Our new space heater is not doing so great. So we've got one recommendation today, and one disappointing piece of technology as well.
