Francisco Rojo is an Improvisor and former Google employee, but he's explained that to enough people. Francisco does talk to me about Google though and why he decided to quit. He tells me about his decision to leave and move to New York City to work on what he's really passionate about. We talk about him growing up in Connecticut and when he knew he wanted to move out of there officially. We also talk about growing up and becoming different people in our 20s and so much more! Francisco is such a nice guy and I loved chatting with him. Enjoy!

  • Episode 68 - Stacey Fleurime
    The Alex Kraemer Program RSS
Stacey Fleurime is an Improvisor and Comedian living in Pittsburgh. I've known Stacey for a couple years and she's always been a lot of fun to talk to. Stacey and I talk about her stand up and what are her influences and what we like to watch on Tv. But this episode goes deeper than that. We talk about her growing up in a strict home and how at an early age she could see through the bullshit. Stacey and I dive into topics like religion, sex, and family. It's a very casual conversation about serious topics and I loved every minute of it, Stacey’s a great person to chat with. Enjoy

Kevin O'Brien is a local Improvisor and music teacher. I've been wanting to have Kevin on for awhile and he was reluctant because he thought he was too boring. he finally comes on and I learn that we actually have a lot in common. We talk about our anxieties and how we are in the community. Growing up with the people we hung out with and how it's hard for us to open up to people and we even discuss music. It honestly felt like a therapy session with how much I open up about myself as well haha. I had a ton of fun talking to Kevin and learning a little bit more about him. Enjoy!

Anna Faila and Zhiwai Ma make up the Improv duo Donatella or they're just show producers for now because of their busy schedules. They have a variety show at Arcade Comedy Theater coming this Saturday at 10pm. They discuss how their friendship started and how they came up with the idea for the show. They talk about how important pride month is for them and representation as well. They talk about it all, coming out, identities, not owing anyone an explain who you our, and etc. This is all stuff I don't know and lazily never read up on, so a lot of the stuff they talk about on here surprises me. Anna and Zhiwai also tell me about the other work they do and we have a "deep" talk on sports. Make sure to check out their show at Arcade Comedy Theater on June 8th at 10pm. Loved chatting with these two. Enjoy!

Jason Shavers is an actor in Pittsburgh. I saw Jason play Wadsworth in a live read of Clue at Arcade Comedy Theater and I really wanted to talk to him. We talk about how he loved the movie and has been wanting to do something with Clue forever and how ecstatic he was to be a part of it. We also talk about when he knew acting was what he wanted to do, doing theater in high school, and the small high school he went to that felt like a community. He also talks to me about the struggle of being an actor and the odd jobs you have to make ends meet. Jason also talks to me about growing up in Wilkinsburg and how close his family is. I even learn that I've seen Jason perform before, once when I started Improv at Arcade and another time back in the day (I was surprised). I really loved getting a chance to talk to Jason. I geeked out a little bit, but I don't care it was fun! Enjoy!
