Mike Iverson, Shelby Ciarallo, and Chris Sexauer (coolest last name ever!) are The New Studio, a nonprofit event planning business sponsoring child development and arts funding. Their goal is to give space and support to the greater artist community be it performance or visual. We talk about how the Pittsburgh art community is growing but deserves much, much more needed attention. I get some sweet recommendations for great artists in the city, and the subtle nuances of Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and the beautiful Frank Ocean.I love what they are doing and I hope you look them up and show them some support.  Dave Forman is a Pittsburgh Improvisor and food lover. He has a food blog under the name "David the Gastronome". We discuss his love for food, where/when it began, and why he considers going to a new restaurant a adventure. We also dive into his love of music (that really shocked me).  Luke Lasky is an Improvisor/filmmaker/Photographer in Pittsburgh. Luke has been on a couple of the other podcasts I tried to get off the ground. So I asked him to come on again and just shoot the shit. We discuss politics, movies today and award shows, Vin Diesel and the rock, and relationships. It's random and there's some awkward silence, but I don't care. I love talking to Luke, I think he's a great guy! Enjoy.

 Fred Frances and Chris Laychak are on one of my favorite improv teams in Pittsburgh, the Arcade Comedy Theaters short form team Joystick. I clear up some things I've always wondered about them. We talk about our jobs and how we act at them. We even swap work place stories. We try to get better at accepting compliments. We even discuss Jurassic Park and other films.  Will Ness (repeating guest!), Tyler Kendrick, Jadon Baker, and I are all on the Unplanned Comedy house team The Unwelcome Guests. We recorded this right after a team rehearsal and needless to say it got interesting. We discussed dead celebrities, drugs, awkward sex talk and the sexist things we've heard. We even discuss Jadon's wild library job. This was one of the most random, incoherent, tangent filled talks I've ever had. I loved every minute of it! I learned a lot and I hope you do too. Enjoy!

Helen Wildy is a Pittsburgh based stand-up comedian and improvisor. Helen and my conversation began with doing bits, I scatted a little, and then we jumped into the comedy talk. We then dove into her world traveling and her Irish heritage. We discussed past relationships, adding what we wanted out of a relationship, and just how each of us has evolved as a human being. Helen is just awesome. This was a really great talk I think you'll enjoy.

 Nate Hall is a Pittsburgh musician in two bands (Northern Gold and The Emo Karaoke Band). He's also just a guy I've wanted to talk to. We talk about him getting into the karaoke band, being from a small town, being overwhelmed by pop culture, and growing up with religion. Just two bald guys talking about life. Very fun talk. Enjoy

 Anna Failla is an activist, architect, improvisor, and a stage manager living in Pittsburgh. We discuss many things, like awkward conversations, love, being a woman, body dysmorphia, and the culture we are living in now. In full disclosure, love and women are two topics I know very little about, so needless to say it gets awkward. But I don't care because I love learning (I still have so many questions)! Also, we banter about some possible future collaborations. All in all a really fun and interesting talk. Enjoy!

Slim Forsythe is Pittsburgh's country music troubadour. With a guitar strapped to his back, he walks the burgh's streets spreading his music to the masses. If you want to see an authentic version of traditional country music, check Slim out at his home base and preferred venue Nied's Hotel in Lawrenceville. Hank Williams is alive and well and thriving in Pittsburgh, Pa.

 Doug Sluk is an actor,  Improviser, and comedian. He also has an encyclopedic knowledge of pop music and some not so pop music. Alex and Doug talk all things Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beatles, and The Rat Spines. I made up one of these bands. Fun episode.
