  • AAJ 068: The Story of Joe The Ironman – Motivation (episode 1)
Listen on: iTunes – Stitcher Radio In this episode you’ll hear the first story of Joe The Ironman, plus…
    • What was the actual moment that motivated me to do an Ironman.
    • How I learned to swim during a cross country road trip with my brother.
    • How my first triathlon went, and what I learned.
    • Hopefully how you can get started towards your first Ironman.
    • And much, much more.
Running toward the finish line with my mom cheering me on The story of Joe the Ironman is a different kind of idea that I had, where I’m telling the story of my Ironman journey. I hope that you enjoy this storytelling style, and I’m sure that I’ll get better at telling the stories as I do more of these.

This first story is about how I became motivated to do my first Ironman, and how I started training for my first triathlon. This includes a cross country move/road trip where I learned how to swim before my first triathlon. I literally didn’t know how to swim with my head under the water, and threw myself into an Olympic distance triathlon.

  • AAJ 067: Things I’m excited about in 2017
Listen on: iTunes – Stitcher Radio In this episode you’ll learn about all the things I’m pumped about in 2017!

Coaching – my coaches website In just a couple of months this personal/business coaching has been life changing for me. I am the type of person that is always the coach in my life. I”m coaching people on nutrition, I’m coaching real estate investors, I’m coaching people at the CrossFit gym, I’m always the coach, and rarely the student. But with this I get to be the student, and it’s freaking awesome!!! Iceman / Wim Hof Method – iOS app / Android app / Website After only playing with the InnerFire app for a few weeks, and doing the breathing and cold exercises I’m already feeling more energized, and able to breath better during my workouts. It’s working so well that I’m going to continue with the Wim Hof Method by taking their 10 week training course. Blood Testing w/InsideTracker – Blog Post 1 / Blog Post 2 / Podcast Interview / InsideTracker.com This has been the single best thing that I’ve discovered in 2016, and I plan to keep testing my blood with InsideTracker every 3-6 months to make sure my body, and diet are in tip top shape. Up to this point I have tested my blood twice, and made some good improvements, but have many more things to improve upon.

It’s strange that you feel like you feel great until you feel even better, and realized that you might be able to feel even better!

You should checkout my blog posts on my InsideTracker experience as well as my podcast interview with Laura Ligos of InsideTracker.

Whoop Band – Website / Discount Code: ALLAROUNDJOE Getting data about your body is awesome, and with Whoop you get data 24/7. Whoop tells you how recovered your body is by analyzing your heart rate, HRV, sleep, and stressors throughout the day and night. Knowing this data will be incredibly valuable to keep me recovered and performing at my highest level. Stay tuned for a full blog write up. Paleo & Zone Meals from Chef By Request – Website I’ve been ordering from Chef By Request for a few months now, and love their service. They have Paleo and Zone options, and the meals are 400 calories each. They also source their food locally, and have it delivered to your home, office, or wherever you might be. It’s freaking awesome! Our super awesome van trip – Instagram / Twitter / Website This has been in the making for around 2 years, and is finally becoming reality. In Sept. 2017 we are going to spend a year on the road traveling to all of the national parks in the US. We will start our trip headed south into California, then cut across the southern US states, and finally swoop back up north for the summer months of 2018. I’ll keep you posted on all of the happenings as we build out our 4×4 Sprinter Van, and pack the thing full of 500+ pounds of CrossFit gear! • AAJ 063: Morning Routine
In this episode you’ll learn a winning morning routine, plus…

Learn how an amazing morning routine can drive you to success in the rest of your life.

    • Morning exercises for fat loss that takes less than 5 mins.
    • How to have a fresh mind without caffein every morning.
    • What to do when you need to change up your morning routine.
    • And much, much more.

To have complete success in your life you need to have great habits that will cause the success that you’re looking for. In this podcast I share my morning routine that has given me great success, and caused additional fat loss, focus, and productivity.

My typical morning routine consists of 50 burpees with the Training Mask on. Let me preface that I didn’t start doing this routine with the Training Mask on. This is part of building up my intensity over time.

When I first started, I was just doing 50 burpees every morning before breakfast. There was no time that I was shooting for, just get the burpees done.

I started with burpees because… I’m really bad at them, or at least I was really bad at them. Now I’m OK at them.

Then after they got easier and easier I added the Training Mask to add intensity and improve my lung strength. Guess what… it has worked!
