He is the franchisee of F45 in Hawaii and in the pursuit of expanding the F45 Training Franchise with in the Hawaiian Islands. His ultimate passion and calling is to build a community center to provide a community for at-risk youth kids in Hawai'i in order to prevent abuse and sex trafficking. She crossed the Atlantic twice as a crew member and crossed the pacific in 2016 with her on their own boat. She is the Executive Director of Accessurf Hawaii. 

During her time Accessurf Hawaii was awarded the “Best Non-profit Marketing of the Year by the American Marketing Association Hawaii, the same year she was honored as one of the ‘Heroes Next Door’ by Star Advertiser. 

In 2016 The Hawaii State Senate and House of Representatives – Officially Recognized Accessurf for 10 Years of Service in addition to a Proclamation from Mayor Caldwell for ‘AccesSurf Day’ in honor of the 10 year anniversary.

 In 2018 Accessurf received the John Kelly Award for  Community Wave Maker and in 2019 she was honored as Business Leader of the year by PBN. She is Cara Short

He is a former pro surfer, a fifth degree jiu jitsu black belt, a MMA fighter with an undefeated professional record, he personally fought to pass Bill 2491, requiring agro chemical companies to disclose pesticide use and GMO crop plantings, while establishing buffer zones around schools, homes and hospitals. His movie Aloha Aina Warrior was awarded the audience award for best short film at the Honolulu Surf film festival as well as best documentary at the New Port Beach Film Festivals.

And if that isn’t enough, he even ran for mayor and got 30% of the votes and made a huge impact on Kauai’s agriculture, He is Dustin Barca!

He is a surfer, a scientist, and a Native Hawaiian, he earned his PhD at the University of California were he studied bio technology, bio engineering and chemistry . His work focuses on ocean conservation and sustainability. One of his best-known projects is the Surfer Biome Project, where he studied the microbiome of surfers around the world. he currently studies coral health at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. He is an ambassador for the Save the Waves Coalition and several other ocean conservation non-profit organizations. He has been profiled in several surfing outlets, including  Surfer Magazine and The Surfer's Journal  and many others , He is Cliff Kapono!
