Episode 33 of LRSM discusses Dr. Octopus returning to steal a powerful device known as "The Nullifier". He sets a trap for Spider-Man and believes he has killed him.  In issue 54 The Tentacles and the Trap! Doctor Octopus becomes a boarder at Aunt May's house.
