A battle appears to be brewing in the White House between Dr. Deborah Birx and the CDC. Birx claims that she can't trust the CDC's death toll numbers which is not surprising since the numbers have come under much scrutiny and Democratic Governor Jared Polis recently reduced Colorado's death toll.  How inflated are the numbers?  Birx thinks they could be inflated by as much as 25%. 

On today's episode we also talk about Senator Ben Sasse's lighthearted commencement speech that was lambasted in the media for absolutely no reason other than that he was a Republican.  Sasse took a fun but informative approach to the speech and the media attacked him for a slew of nonsensical reasons.  The Senator from Nebraska tried to bring a little levity to thousands of young people who are entering one of the worst economies in history and the media couldn't help themselves. 

Also on today's episode we discuss the UN's misplaced priorities.  Instead of working to update people on the coronavirus or public health, they've taken to Twitter to create a gender neutral language guide.  Good grief!

On today's episode of the Virus we discuss the media's continued attempts to make Governor Andrew Cuomo (aka Governor Hot Spot) the hero of the coronavirus story.  That could not be further from the truth.  Governor Hot Spot is under much scrutiny for how his executive orders may have led to the deaths of hundreds (if not thousands) of nursing home patients in New York.  Now he's trying to turn the tables and the media is helping him. 

We also discuss Obama's viral commencement speech that attacked President Trump's handling of the coronavirus.  The media flocked to cover the event all while many mainstream outlets nearly ignore the Obamagate scandal and brush it off as a conspiracy. 

Today we also coin a new term . . . "welfare capitalists."  These are the hundreds of thousands of Americans on unemployment who don't want to return to work because they are making more money sitting at home.  Can you blame them?  We discuss how this affects our economy, business owners, and the future of reopening. 

Lastly, we talk about how "nativism" has returned and the left are pioneering it!  Activists in states and countries across the world are discouraging tourism and working to keep nonresidents out of their communities.

In today's episode we revisit the Los Angeles County mask requirements and the little tyrants who have put them in place.  It's been about day since the mask requirement was put in place and so far - people appear to be silently protesting.  Even at the beach where masks are mandatory for all beachgoers many have chosen not to wear one. 

Also on today's episode we take a look at the background of Dr. Barbara Ferrer.  Dr. Ferrer is the LA County Public Health Director who has faced criticism for her stringent lockdown orders.  It turns out Dr. Ferrer isn't a medical doctor at all . . . and Red State has done some interesting reporting that further examines her background.  Not only are her credentials in question . . . but so is her salary which totals nearly $500,000 a year.  Yikes!

In yesterday's press conference California Governor Gavin Newsom announced he would be cutting state worker pay by 10% to help account for the massive shortfall in the state budget.  

Also in today's episode we talk about the Senators under FBI scrutiny for potential insider trading, Amazon's sick workers, and countries varying social distancing guidelines.  

Panic!  Panic!  Panic!  The curve has flattened in almost every U.S. city and state and now the government is doing all they can to keep the fear and panic going.  Our Mayor in Los Angeles has now implemented a mandatory mask order when you leave your house in Los Angeles.  The lockdown started over 9 weeks ago.  So why now?!  Many public officials are starting to see push back from their residents about their lockdowns and it seems that mandatory mask orders are the new way to keep the lemmings in line.  We've gone from pandemic to panic-demic!

We have exciting news from Wisconsin where the Supreme Court overturned the governor's lockdown!  Now only if we could get that in California . . . Due to the court's ruling, restaurants and bars are able to open immediately in the state.  

California has released their reopening guidelines for restaurants and they are complete rubbish and not based on science whatsoever.  We tell you some of the ridiculous new regulations that restaurant owners will be facing. 

Lastly, we visit Pennsylvania and a horrifying story of severe nursing home mismanagement that has devastated thousands of families across the state. 

Today we update you on the latest draconian lockdown measures in Southern California that are punishing taxpayers while letting the homeless off the hook.  We’re also joined by undercover journalist James O’Keefe of Project Veritas, who discusses his latest explosive story exposing CBS. James really is one of the best journalists operating in the US these days.

Southern Californians have been prisoners in their own homes for weeks due to restrictions  by state and local “leaders”. Well, most Southern Californians at least. On this week’s podcast, we expose how these extreme measures don’t apply to the homeless.

Later on in the show, we’re joined by James O’Keefe, and we discuss his latest scoop exposing CBS faking the news. The channel's reporters recently broadcast a video of a testing facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan, showing long, long lines of people waiting to be tested for COVID-19. Because of an incredible Project Veritas whistleblower, we now know these lines were faked and included the clinics healthcare workers who posed as patients to make the lines seem more full!

James also discusses the massive pushback against his work over the years and how he has been able to maintain his team’s integrity and results throughout it all.  Project Veritas has seen a full legal assault to try and silence their journalism and James explains how they’ve been able to win lawsuit after lawsuit. We also hear James favorite recipe and the work of art he finds most inspiring.

Like most of you, we’ve been catching up on streaming shows over the last several weeks and in this week’s podcast, we discuss our favorites, including the hit TLC show 90 Day Fiance. The program was popular even before the pandemic hit, but recently, its ratings have skyrocketed! As you may recall, we have been waiting anxiously to get our beach access back in Los Angeles.  After much anticipation, the county has announced they will open this week . . . but with strings attached!  If you want to go the beach in Los Angeles you must be engaging in active activities - no sitting!  And if you are not in the water - you must wear a mask.  This latest order by Los Angeles shows that these overpaid public health officials and politicians aren't really relying on science - it's all politics and power. 

Today we also hear about Fauci's testimony in front of the Senate HELP committee.  Fauci told the New York Times last night that he predicts "needless" deaths if the economy reopens too quickly.  We debunk the media's hysteria surrounding Fauci's statements. 

On today's episode we also talk about Elon Musk and his quest to reopen his Tesla factory in California.  After battling with county officials, Musk decided to take matters into his own hands and open against the county order. 

Lastly, we revisit our friend Governor Hot Spot who has a new name for the Wuhan Virus - and it's not what you'd think...

In today's episode we take a very evenhanded look at the "Plandemic" video that has been spreading through social media like wildfire.  As documentary filmmakers, we examine some of the strengths and weaknesses of the film and what could have made the film more credible.  But we know one thing for sure - we cannot trust the film's major critics!  The mainstream media has rushed to discredit the film since it's publishing and we know for sure they cannot be trusted to cover the virus or the film fairly. 

Also on today's episode we further examine the economic ramifications of the lockdowns.  The "lockdown forever" crowd uses anti-capitalist arguments to try and discredit the economic ramifications of the virus.  They say things like, "You just care about business not people."  That couldn't be farther from the truth.  In reality, thousands of Americans are dying from lack of employment and lack of hope. 

We also talk about the new travel restrictions for the U.K. which could destroy business travel and tourism, China's attempt to refute coronavirus blame, and more!

In terrible news, the unemployment rate has hit a whopping 14.7%.  We discuss whether these folks will be rehired and what jobs may not return after the lockdown.  Huge corporations in the sharing economy like Airbnb and Uber are taking massive hits at the moment.  Will they be able to recover?

We also look at new data from New York which is a bit embarrassing for our friend Governor Hot Spot.  New data shows that 66% of people who were hospitalized for the Wuhan Virus were people who stayed home.  It's critical that states reevaluate their lockdown strategies - especially if this is found in other states.

Lastly we revisit our old pal Joe Biden's podcast . . . or what's left of it.  The former Vice President has announced this will be his final podcast . . . even thought the election is months away.

Los Angeles has FINALLY announced that they will be easing their lockdown . . . but it's not by much.  Now some retail will be allowed but it must be drive up style only.  This means that customers cannot enter the store.  How will clothing stores be able to sell their products effectively?  It makes absolutely no sense.  

We also talk about Neil Ferguson and his latest slip up.  Not only is Ferguson the architect of the faulty models that plunged the world into paranoia and economic destruction . . . he violated his own "quarantine" mantra!  You won't believe this latest case of "lockdown for thee but not for me!"
