Gary Sawyer's family moved to North Devon from North London when he was a child and he started his long established footballing career in the South West.

That career saw him battle it out against Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney as a teenager, break into the Argyle Coca-Cola Championship side in his early 20s and then went on to win two promotions with the Greens in his later years.

There have been ups and downs and even a few regrets, but Gary's Argyle record is right up there with some of the club's greatest.

Having racked up over 200 appearances for two of Devon's sides, he swapped the South West for North Wales where his journey took a Hollywood twist.

He's been there for some of our biggest moments of the last five years.

Jake Jervis enjoyed his most prolific spell as a footballer at Home Park scoring 31 goals in 127 matches.

He featured in a Wembley final, won promotion and was part of that FA Cup run which saw us draw at Anfield - not bad for just three years.
