Kirby talks about the local drug and gun raid that happened, councilmember Kshama Sawant thinks we can stop shootings with speedbumps and curbed flower beds and the point system for immigration.
Kirby has two guests this hour: Christopher Rufo on the single mom that was raped in Ballard and Sydney Phillips- Sydney just argued an important public records case before the Washington Supreme Court on Tuesday.
Back in 2015, during the middle of an effort by SEIU 925 to unionize campus faculty, the Freedom Foundation submitted a request for public records to the University of Washington involving certain communications faculty may have had with labor unions.
SEIU 925 filed suit to block the release of the records on the grounds that, although they were created on UW email systems, they did not relate to the employment duties of the faculty and were therefore not public records.
