Inslee, a major lawsuit the Freedom Foundation argued on Tuesday before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. It is the first major case involving the application of Janus v. AFSCME to reach a federal circuit court of appeals. Victory for the plaintiffs could curtail several practices commonly employed by government unions since Janus to prevent membership resignations.
