  • 080 ~ The Best Time of the Year for Acknowledgments

This episode is about this time of year and how it is just built for Acknowledgment

As we head into the last part of the year, we should take a few minutes and think about those people that have helped this year be a success

Take the time to look back over the year, the entire year, looking at all of the things that have happened and those people that have helped you.

  • 077 ~ Acknowledgment and Employee Engagement and REtention

I was speaking to Judy Umlas the other day about a presentation I’m going to give and one of the items that came up was the question:

Have you ever left a job because of lack of appreciation?

I know Judy asks this question in many of her keynotes and courses

And, according to Judy, there is consistently at least 50% of the people in the audience respond in the affirmative.

    Let me restate that…

Over 50% of the people responded that they have left a position because of lack of appreciation.

  • 076 ~ Mentoring and Acknowledgment

In this episode I’d like to open up a topic on Mentoring and Acknowledgment

There is such a strong link between the two that I feel the need to make sure everyone knows about it.

I am currently on a project where I have the honor of mentoring a less experienced project manager, her name is Queen.

Over the last week, we went through what is called the “initiate tollgate”
