Join us for our summer reading series. During the month of August we are working through JR Miller's classic, Home-Making, published in 1882. Each Wednesday your host, Allison, will read two chapters from this short book. Each Friday, The Art of Home will distribute corresponding reflection questions to our email subscribers. All resources created by The Art of Home for this summer reading series are provided free of charge.
Since we are presenting the book in audio form via the podcast you do not need a hard copy. However, it might be helpful for working through the reflection questions. This book is in the public domain, therefore you can access the text for free in various places online. We will link some below. If you desire, you can purchase a paperback copy for less than $10 on Amazon.
In this installment of the summer reading series we present Chapters 8 & 9, "Religion in the Home" and "Home Memories".
