Welcome back to the Booked On Fantasy Podcast! Today we are diving into the second short story of The Assassin’s Blade titled, “The Assassin and the Healer.”  

Celaena is en route to the Red Desert for punishment training, but she stops for a few nights in the destitute port town of Innish. While there, she meets a young healer named Yrene. Itching to burn off some pent up anger, Celaena finds herself looking for trouble. But fear not, we know our favorite assassin, deep down is a softy, and she leaves the crappy little town on a good note.
