Our perspectives get ripped away and we are thrown into the brain space of poor Lidia. WE NEVER WANT THE WET TO TURN TO DRY unless it has nothing to do with a downstairs goosh and everything to do with being physically wet. In that case- PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME IN THE HELL THAT IS REMAINING PHYSICALLY WET.  In ch 10, we head over to the Viper Queen's lair but she ain't the only snake up in this piece. Does someone hear the SLITHERY SHREW alarm being sounded?! Or does the rest of the scooby gang find out that this big scary mean is actually a HERO DRAPED IN SNAKERY?! The Hind aka Agent Daybright shows up and she needs our help! It's the only way our torture boiz are going to survive! In ch 11, we climb back down into the tunnels to join Nesta and Bryce to look at some ~~interesting~~ wall carvings (man, humans have been enslaved by the Fae for likeeeeee a while!) Bryce's star power tells em they gotta get all wet but nobody told us how dry we will be by the end of this chapter when we make it back to our Tea Time for Torture. Awwww the boys have each other.....but do they have any HOPE to help them survive?

 Oh this book ain't givin no normal grocery store's amount of torture. This is MEMBERSHIP CLUB AMOUNTS OF TORTURE. Big torture time. And that's not gonna let up any time soon but don't worry we aren't dwellin on all that TOO hard. In ch. 8, we have to deal with the riddles bein dropped by Apollion and Aidas to Hunt via torture-tired-dream but these two Princes of Hel are not droppin the truth bombs very easily. THEN WHY DID THEY COME TO THE TORTURE BRAIN PARTY?! Ugh, then we move over to all of our book friends trying desperately to figure out how to get Tharion outta his suck bond with the hot scary Viper Queen (you shoulda THOUGHT ABOUT THAT THARION.) In chapter 9, we rip back through the dimensions to join up with our Tunnel Galz and there are some dusty booby traps down there but I bet we can brush the dust right offa those boobies and they'll be good as new!

WILL SOMEONE TELL ANY OF THEM WHERE BRYCE IS? Kinda hard to do if the entire planet don't know where she is........

The Hind is still tryna squeeze every last bubble drop out of our Sprite Queen but we do get to meet the Grand Hag of the Imperial Coven and she is NOT as cool as she sounds! Ughhghghghghgh, how do we feel about the Hind/Lydia??? I WANT TO LOVE HER I LOVE HER DECEPTION BUT WILL SHE BREAK US FOREVER? Also back in Tunnel Time, people get ready there's a worm a-comin. you don't need no baggage you just get on board (or get outta the way!)

In chapter 78, we land portally with Bryce on......GRASS? next to a cuhrazy hot winged Shadow Daddy speaking a language she doesn't know? With a dagger that's singing the sibling song of the Starsword?? EX-SQUEEZE ME?!?!??! This book ends on quiiiiiite a big case of DA FERK?!?!?!? and we can't wait to keep on chugging into Crescent City book 3, House of Flame and Shadow, soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
