Justin, Dan and Painter open the show by talking about the Auburn offensive line’s recent trip to Mikata and that picture of Garner Langlo’s arms. Painter invents a new genre of restaurant, while Dan and Justin reminisce about Movie Gallery.
After a discussion of 5-star linebacker Demarcus Riddick’s upcoming announcement, the guys each pick out a non-quarterback storyline they’re interested in the most heading into Auburn football fall camp. They also talk about the quarterbacks, of course.
At the end of the episode, Justin and Dan give their non-spoiler reviews of the Barbie and Oppenheimer double feature that took the country by storm this past weekend.

Justin and Dan record a podcast as the last people left on Radio Row at Media Days on Tuesday evening in Nashville. Painter checks in and almost makes it a full episode before the SEC’s Internet connection kicks him out.
The guys talk about the big-picture vision from Hugh Freeze and the Tigers’ player representatives on Tuesday. They run down Auburn’s b…
Ryan Nanni of the Shutdown Fullcast continues his quest to be on every possible podcast in 2023 by joining The Observer crew for the first time. Ryan gives a live report from the buzzing streets of Nashville ahead of this week’s SEC Media Days.
The guys cover the entire conference in a deeply serious way. Justin offers a scenario that ends in “Permanent Texas A&M head coach Bobby Petrino.” Ryan explains the mindset of the Florida fan in an already weird Billy Napier Era. Dan continues the streak of shouting out Northwest Florida State Community College. Painter disappears and becomes a ghost.
The crew also discuss the eternal combined chaos of Auburn and Florida and the best places to eat in Nashville. Keep an ear out for Ryan’s new podcast, which debuts soon.

The guys preview Auburn‘s upcoming SEC Media Days appearances by each coming up with one burning questions they’d want to ask the Tigers’ reps: Luke Deal, Kameron Stutts, Elijah McAllister and Hugh Freeze.
Then it’s a switch over to basketball, where they discuss where Auburn’s new-look roster sits in an increasingly tough SEC landscape. Justin has posit…
Justin, Painter and Dan open the show by discussing Auburn’s player representatives for next week’s SEC Media Days in Nashville. They talk about why this trio is both surprising and on-point with what the Tigers will want to project heading into Year 1.
After a breakdown of new 2024 commitment Malik Blocton and a plan to have some special food-based bonus podcasts in the future — by listener request — the guys create their own confidence meters for Auburn football’s 2023 SEC schedule. They each assign points, from 1 to 8, on how confident they are in the Tigers’ chances of winning for each conference matchup.

Rich Silva of the Montgomery Advertiser makes his Observer podcast debut. He opens the show by discussing the most chaotic first week of covering Auburn sports possible and looking forward to his first full football season on the Plains.
The guys talk with Rich about his article on Doctor Bo Wallace and what it takes to be a transfer quarterback under Hugh Freeze. Rich gives his take on Payton Thorne and the quarterback battle. Dan makes a good point about Holden Geriner. The Auburn-USF upset from 2007 is referenced.
Later in the episode, Rich talks about his research findings on Aden Holloway and what could be expected from the 5-star true freshman this season. Meanwhile, Painter checks in from a new Undisclosed Location.

It’s time for the annual Auburn football snake draft — with Dan making his debut.
Justin and Dan each snake-draft a starting offense and a starting defense from the Tigers’ 2023 roster, with a few tweaks. They agree to share quarterbacks in the name of maximizing draft intrigue and add a flex player on each side of the ball.
Who goes No. 1 overall? Who g…
Justin, Dan and Painter run through the newly announced list of Auburn basketball’s SEC basketball opponents for the 2023-24 season. Dan tries to sidetrack everyone with random questions and makes his pitch for K.D. Johnson to become a professional wrestler.
The guys then discuss Jabari Smith’s number change in the NBA and use it to transition to the finalized jersey numbers for Auburn football’s 2023 roster. Justin makes a bold statement about Jeremiah Cobb and embarrasses himself while trying to remember famous running backs.
The episode ends with a tribute to the late Terry Price — one of the most beloved and highly regarded former Auburn football assistants ever.

Justin and Dan open the show talking about being tall and their hottest takes on the 2023 NBA Draft.
Then they switch over to the main topic of the show: players who almost came to Auburn — such as Scoot Henderson, Lamar Jackson, Stefon Diggs and Philip Rivers — and how they could’ve changed the course of Tigers history.
