The National Conservatism movement has quickly become an influential force in American politics, but it now finds itself at an interesting crossroads. Several key figures like JD Vance have been elevated to powerful positions, and much of its agenda has been adopted to some degree by the Trump administration. Now that the coalition has won, it has to govern while holding its various factions together. I'll discuss my thoughts after attending the latest conference.

Power always seeks to expand. It never halts for principles or words on paper; it halts only for rival powers strong enough to resist it. Those rivals must have deep roots, independent resilience, and the ability to demand loyalty. They must project sovereignty in ways the state cannot easily replicate, establishing spheres of influence that can resist government overreach without ever firing a shot. Robust middle-class communities are the best way to create these spheres of sovereignty, which is why the state uses immigration to destroy them.

After the fall of the Soviet Union, many Western elites declared the end of history. Politics had been solved, and the only question was how long it would take for every nation to submit to the universal order. It has now become clear that the death of politics has been greatly overstated and the global hegemony of liberal democracy is breaking down. Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin joins me to discuss multipolarity, the end of postmodernism, and Nick Land's accelerationism.

Many Americans will repeat the phrase "separation of church and state," believing it to be one of the founding principles of the nation, though it appears nowhere in the Constitution or Declaration of Independence. In reality, the early United States was a land of state churches, blasphemy laws, and public prayer. Timon Cline, editor in chief at American Reformer, joins me to discuss his recent submission to the Harvard Law Review on the incorporation doctrine and how it has distorted the American tradition.

During a press gaggle this week, President Trump casually announced that the United States would allow 600,000 Chinese nationals to enter the country as college students. He has long focused on improving relations with China, but the idea of importing and educating such numbers runs against the America First instincts of his voters. When Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick was asked why these students were so important, he admitted that many U.S. universities would go out of business without foreign enrollment. For the Right, that sounds less like a warning and more like a promise. Ending large-scale immigration from a rival power while letting bankrupt institutions fail should be an easy win. Instead, the Trump administration seems poised to prop up anti-American universities by training the children of our most dangerous adversary.

Discrimination is considered one of the most egregious sins in the modern world, but humans can't make it through a single day without needing to engage in discrimination. We'll be reading the work of philosopher Nick Land to better understand the nature and necessity of discrimination. We'll also discuss the mass shooting at a Minneapolis Catholic school, allegedly committed by yet another trans terrorist.

After a Sikh semi-truck driver allegedly killed three people while attempting an illegal U-turn in Florida, he was charged with three counts of vehicular homicide. In response, millions of his fellow Indians have signed a petition demanding his release, and $1 million dollars has been raised in his name. This has caused a larger conversation on social media about the way that many industries in the United States have become ethnic cartels due to immigration from the subcontinent. We'll be looking at the different outlooks of U.S. and Indian culture and why they may be fundamentally incompatible.

The Trump administration recently announced that it will be reviewing all 55 million foreigners with U.S. visas for violations that would bar them from the country. What shocked most Americans was the sheer volume of immigrants who have now been given the legal right to enter the U.S. A country with that level of foreigners flowing in simply cannot maintain its sovereignty. We’ll also discuss the raid on John Bolton’s home and a very interesting video that explains how other cultures understand time.

The United Kingdom is embroiled in a strange controversy: Officials are trying to ban the English flag from the public square. As immigration-driven violence rises, national identity has become central. Many Englishmen, watching as immigrants pour in and grooming gangs prey on their daughters, have begun raising the red-and-white St. George’s Cross. Officials invent excuses to tear those flags down — even as immigrant groups replace the Union Jack with the flag of Pakistan. To outsiders, this may look like a petty fight over fabric, but it is a symbol of the existential struggle gripping Britain. When citizens clash over flags, it signals that civil war could be near.

Friedrich Nietzsche is known as one of the most infamous critics of Christianity, but are there lessons Christians can learn from that critique? The faith is beginning to see a small but real revival in the West, but most seekers are looking for a more robust and demanding version than is currently offered in our modern world. Athenian Stranger joins me to discuss how a better understanding of Nietzsche's work can actually help Christian combat nihilism.
