The idea
Launch a product every two weeks. (26 products, ambitious goal). Add it into my back-end sales funnel.
The Process
* Come up with a “proven winner”
* Write your headline
* Write out your bullet points (Why do it this way. I know I am tapping into what people want. Creating the product first is a backwards approach.)
* Bullet points become your outline, your slides, chapters, etc.
* Record the product.
* Finish the sales copy
* Put it out there
Full scale launch or internal launch to your audience. etc.
* New – Build a buyers list
* Established – Launch to your list and profit
* Do both! (Depends on how much time you want to spend)
The real win? Having hours and hours of recorded content to sell. I can sell one off trainings. I can package them together into mid-ticket and high-ticket offers. I can combine them to create a membership site.
My Authority Powered Lab for example. Some of the core concepts and training in that program stemmed from a few of these products. I have since turned it into a 5 week immersion course but the core training and principals came from smaller trainings.
The back-end campaign- I now have a backend campaign of over 40 emails that promote products on autopilot.
How can you create and launch products this year?
The four pillars
I always talk about the four things…really three things you should spend the majority of your time on.
* Content
* Offers
* Traffic
* (Home base) Limit time spent on this. Only focus on this when you absolutely need to.
So with all that being said. Offers is a huge component of the four pillars. Every week you set aside time to work on them.
Maybe it’s an hour a week. You record one hour of training every single week. So overall you might spend 2 and half hours on product creation. Something like the schedule below:
* 30 researching.
* 30 minutes writing the headline and bullet points.
* 30 minutes creating your outline.
* 1 hour recording.
That’s 1 hour of new training every single week.
Even if you just did that you would have 50 hours of training by next year. That’s what I did. But I took it a few steps further. I created a sales letter for every training. I created an upsell for almost every training. Then I added them to my back-end email campaign with a 3 email sequence. And I launched each one as I went.
How would it change your business if 6 months from now you had recorded an hour of training/product content a week? Pretty powerful right!
