Howdy Avid Indoorspeople! We’re back with another Social Distancing Session and we were so excited to talk about the Modern Western from 2016, Hell or High Water. To really dive into this film we decided to bring back one of our favorite buckaroos, Straight No Chaser’s Seggie Isho!

Before we chat with Seggie we discuss what movies we’ve seen, what we’re streaming and the fun things we’ve been eating.

Seggie always brings the hottest of takes that are so hot you’ll need a High Water to cool down. Not our best work there...but that is no reflection on Seggie’s awesome insight on this film.

We end with a fun game of Doug Benson’s game Last Man Stanton and then our Patrons get to hear us draft our Top 5 Favorite Modern Westerns.

We had too much fun discussing Rounders with these two. It’s one of those movies we’ve all quoted forever and it was great to chat with two actors about the performances in this film.

It’s time for another Movie Game Night! We had such a good time with @TimFoustMusic and @SNCSeggie that we had to bring them back for some more movie game action! We also brought back a guest we haven’t heard from in a while, ex-MLB pitcher/Current Fantasy Football podcaster @BradZiegler!

We changed the format up and did 3 separate games instead of one long marathon movie game. This worked out really well and we had a bunch of fun!

Since we’ve had some extra time we thought it would be fun to do some movie games with different guests!

Our first Movie Game Night features Home Free’s own Tim Foust, The Criterion Man himself Darrell Marrier, and Straight No Chaser’s Seggie Isho.

Rob has played a particular movie game with the other Home Free guys while driving all over the country and has played this game, naming off actors and movies, for hundreds of hours at this point. He thought it would be fun to try it out with these fellas and they did not disappoint.

We want to thank Tim, Darrell and Seggie for being our guinea pigs. This was a lot of fun and kinda stressful at times!

Everyone is stuck in their homes for the next however long, so we thought the next batch of movies we release should all be available to stream on Netflix. We’re calling this new series: Social Distancing Sessions.

We decided to bring the laughs on the first episode of Social Distancing Sessions since we all could use more of that in our lives right now. We chose The Other Guys which just so happens to be celebrating it’s 10th Anniversary.

To giggle along with us we brought back some of our favorite recurring guests: @JenikaMarion and @TimFoustMusic.

Before we chat with Tim and Jenika we talk about how we’re dealing with the worldwide pandemic upon us, our last movies we’ve watched, what we’re streaming since that is very appropriate right now and our favorite meals of late.

Breaking down this film with these two was a total blast. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and kept the good times rolling with a super fun game that Tim made and then our Patrons get to hear our Top 5 Favorite Buddy Cop Films Draft. Spoiler, the Top 5 was suuuuuper fun.

First off, we hope you are all safe and healthy during these crazy times. We recorded this before the pandemic really got going, so that’s why we don’t mention it at all in the episode.

We cannot believe TMNT is 30 years old!?! Since this movie and comic franchise has been such a huge part of our lives, it was really a no-brainer that we would do an episode on it. It seemed like the perfect time to do it since it’s celebrating it’s 30th birthday and it’s also on Netflix currently so you can watch while we are stuck inside for who knows how long.

We start off the episode discussing the latest movies we’ve watched that are currently available to rent or stream, what tv we’re streaming and our tastiest meals when we were still able to eat at restaurants.

We had to bring back one of our favorite guests, one of Rob’s buddies from all the way back to his elementary school days and a HUGE TMNT enthusiast, Hollywood actor, J.Michael Trautmann! He was so great on our Rise of Skywalker episode that we had to have him on again to talk about his love for these pizza-loving, butt-kicking turtles! We had a blast reminiscing about our childhood memories of this film while breaking it down. We hope you have as much fun listening to us as we did talking about this indie classic!

We end the episode with a movie game we took from Doug Loves Movies called Last Man Stanton and our Patrons get to hear us draft our Top 5 Favorite Films When We Were Kids!

HOLY SHNIKEYS! Tommy Boy just turned 25 years old and it just so happens to be one of our favorite movies of all time. We thought we should bring someone on who loves this movie as much as we do, so we have one of our closest friends making his AI debut, our good college buddy, Brandon Miller!
